6 Tips I Learned by Pugging to 3k IO in Mythic+

i am 3.4k by mostly solo que, some guild keys, but alot of pugs. 99% of the time i go in with the expectation we're going to brick the key, but i still try my hardest to do the little jobs as you say. using my defensives, stops, etc. i've had 27s bricked on the first pull, 27s bricked on the last boss. shit happens, all you gotta do is take the L and go to the next key! the comment on small score gain is huge. I get 4-5 points going from like a 25 --> 26

update! I'm almost 3.5k io now (3470io) and i got almost all 27s done this week. One big tip, and I actually started doing this --- if you can, record your runs. I have started watching back my own gameplay and seeing where I can fix thing in my rotation, cooldown timings, etc. and the value that analyzing your OWN gameplay brings is unmatched.

hit 3002 last night mostly pugging, def no set Push Team. As an unholy dk i can say its been a challenge and the majority of the challenge was just getting into groups. the majority of times i got into a competent group my damage was fine. people need to give more off meta specs a chance.

The think I learned from pugging to 3.2K IO is that 3.2K IO isn't nearly as hard to reach as I thought it was.

Keep in mind that this varies from season to season, the balance of key level and power level is never quite the same.

It sounds like mythic now is like normal dungeons in TBC when we had to use CC and not just run and dps everything without thinking 😂

when i see no dot moving to me at the summoning stone for minutes im already done for the day and just play something else. people fucking suck. especially with the portals since shadowlands s4 where you _could_ be there withing a minute. i wouldnt even dare to queue for a dungeon im not already standing in front of so we can go.

Been playing both for the better part of a decade, there's not much of of a difference in the salt levels between the two. One just happens to have content and the other doesn't. But the real thing I left swtor for was to touch grass and enjoy life outside

3k is not that good rn, cutoffs are hjigher than prev seasons

If your goal is to break 3k, then Id say 3k is pretty darn good. However if you intend to get the "m+ title" or smth then yeah its not enough. But thats a different goal.

It’s not 0.1% title, but it’s an achievable goal for most casual players with a bit of effort. Or we can go back to arbitrary gate keeping, which is really the peak WoW experience.
