thanku for asking dear Please decide which type of yur chimney ......Charcoal filters: In this kind of chimneys there is no way you can clean them, they must be replaced in every three to five months.Duct tape chimneys: In duct tape chimneys, it requires less maintenance compared to its counter parts, and the filters are more durable due to more suction capacity. You can simply use a soap scrub to clean DT chimneys. You can maintain it well, if you clean it atleast once in a month.Baffle and mesh filter: This is the most commonly used chimneys in Indian kitchens. The filters of this kind of chimney are fitted with a double-layered filter with large suction capacity. It should be cleaned with warm water and detergent, this combined solution will unclog the pores. You should repeat the cleaning process every two to three weeks.

this is such a RESEARCHED Video I must say. So many methods. Btw thr is this channel “Garima Sharma” u mite be knowing she COPIED each n every method n PASTED in her Video n got views too. Rice that I purchase (or grow, if that were an option in my area) is for me to use as I please. If I use it for cleaning it is not a waste. It has served a useful function. After using it for cleaning a bottle, it can then be composted for even more usefulness. Who made the "rule" that rice must be eaten and cannot be used for anything else? BTW, old/buggy rice can be kept for this purpose, as well. Excellent way to prolong the useful life of a product that would normally be discarded without being used for anything.

Yes, clean sand is a good alternative, especially for metal water bottles. Can be a little too rough for some plastic bottles. Once the plastic is scratched, it can actually harbor more harmful microbes. Other alternatives are bottle brushes, bits small twigs & grasses, cut up sponge or tree bark. Using alternatives doesn't answer my question. Why is it a waste to use rice for cleaning, as that serves a useful purpose for this grain?
