There's evil people like this all the time. When my husband's mother passed away, they gave $100 from sunshine money to the siblings they believed didn't help financially with the funeral. The evil, greedy older sister was so angry about that $100 each. It was a total of $300. The evil, greedy sister demanded they give that money to her. She believes she's the only one who loves their mother. I don't think they gave it to her, but they also didn't give it to the 3 siblings either. SMDH

I have met families with alot of daughters and one son...they are very protective of their "brother" and they believe alot of woman out there are not good enough...i think this is a hmong thing but it's base on your husband's..he should stand up for you...I dont believe all the sisters feels the same.
