It binds and hence dilutes the capsaicin making it LESS strong (they're both oils and are dipolar)... water is a polar liquid and cannot form a bond with a dipolar liquid (unless a 3rd agent - an emulsifier has been introduced), and so drinking water after eating a chili pepper will disperse the oil (capsaicin) and make it feel hotter. However, since peanut butter has a very thick consistency, it would work better if you take a teaspoon at a time and swirl it around to let it absorb the capsaicin.

For me the best thing is just leaving your mouth open and wallowing in the pain. Maribel Perez Actually that's how racism works. He believes that white people are inferior at eating hot peppers. Or inversely he believes that he is superior to white people when it comes to eating hot peppers. Even though it shouldn't be a big deal if he is joking, or since it is only hot peppers... but still if he is serious, he would need proof that white people are inferior hot pepper eaters, to not be considered racist. If he deduced from this video that Link is too white to be eating hot peppers, and that is the first place his mind went to, then it is possible he is racist. I would say that its that way Link is compared to Rhett. Rhett doesn't act as wimpy as Link, but he is white also.
