I had filed for an increase for a phobia which I am currently at 30%. I had a bad C&P exam. I had written down what I wanted to express to the examiner, but I forgot and left in vehicle and didn't remember until it was all over. I was medically discharged in Sept 1988 because my disability was too severe for military service and was given 10% disability rating. But according to 38 CFR 4.129 I should have been discharged with at least 50% disability rating.

Questions guys. I have a C&P exam for vertigo as a secondary condition. I’m rated for hearing loss as well as tinnitus. What’s the difference between vertigo and Mainers disease and how does the VA figure out what is what? Or does vertigo count as Mainers disease? Thanks!

I’m confused and frustrated. Two months ago ( March 2022 ) I had three C&P exams the same day, two where for increase for hearing and the other increase was for PTSD. My third was a new claim for Hypertension secondary to PTSD. I went into the exam and provided proof of diagnosis and showed prescriptions I was given and also provided daily blood pressure readings for over a month showing my medication wasn’t helping. When I got my decision letter my PTSD was increased quit a bit, but the examiner for hypertension used the fancy words saying basically “ less likely than likely “ are they not supposed to look at the entire picture and put it all together? I just had a big increase in PTSD and now I have hypertension diagnosed those go hand in hand. What did I do wrong?

I got a nexus letter and still didn't get compensation. Two service connected with a zero rating.

Hello, and thank you for the very informative videos. My question is, are you awarded for each surgery that’s associated with a direct service connected disability? I was JUST granted service connected for my left knee in 2019 (I was injured in 1990), and in 2021 ended up needing a LTKA. I already need another surgery on the left because of crunching, instability and more than likely Synovitis and scar tissue, and maybe spacer replacement. Additionally, in December 2021, I filed for my right knee, and was just awarded. I now need a RPKA. I have a chronic issue with Synovitis building up in my joints, especially my knees. I’ve had two Arthroscopic surgeries on my left knee, prior to VA accepting the claim, and before the TKA.

Question. I completed my C&P exam and happy about my results. but i was rated 0% for heart Mets test due to me telling the examiner no i didn't have symptoms when i actually do. Do i file an appeal and just explain that i misspoke during the exam so i can be rated properly?

Supplemental claim. Upload any new evidence so they will open it back up. Maybe go out and see a doctor for it just so you can something recent to upload
