I really enjoyed the post. There’s nothing like having your beard looking right you feel good but when there’s a problem where one side is higher than the other talk about a stressful event yes indeed, I am very particular about my beard. There are some guys who are tight all the time and that is what inspires me to keep it together

I think sometimes we underestimate the strength of an average natural beard. We want to baby our beards because we've given them so much patience and care but they're usually stronger than we give them credit for.
@gatisgaming9775 жыл бұрын
You "beardtubers" are a weird breed. Let me go over what you've stated, and give you the actual straight answers. This is for everyone else also that doesn't want to spend $200 dollars easily to grow a beard. Tip 1: Don't use shampoo and conditioner for your hair. This doesn't matter, I don't care what you heard from the hipster guy that has 20k subs trying to bulk sell a bunch of overpriced garbage. It's up to you if you want to spend your hard earned cash on overpriced crap. The fact of the matter is you can use shampoo and conditioner on a beard, yes that's right the same kind that is for your hair. If it "destroys" your beard, then men in the past times wouldn't have had some of the biggest beards ever, and they didn't even use these feminine products like overpriced shampoo, and conditioner "specifically" for the beard. What a bunch of non sense. Tip 2: Oil, beard balm etc. Sure you can use oil if you want, but you don't HAVE to buy $40 oil, and $60 balm. You can get the cheap stuff, and works just as good, or you can do what I do and stop following such an expensive fad. Get $10 huge container of coconut oil, Emu oil, jojoba oil, or grapeseed oil. You don't even need them all, just one will be fine. As I mentioned again, no one back in the day had a tiny drip bottle of "special oh so lucuious peppermint/cedar tree fanboybeard oil" Any of that other stuff can rehydrate a beard that shampoo/conditioner strips. You didn't bother to mention the "special 30 dollar shampoo/conditioner" does the same exact thing, otherwise they wouldn't try to make you buy the oil/balm/butter/fanboybeardproductomygosh Tip 3: Blowdrying. You're still going to get damage no matter how far you keep the blowdrier, and sure it's a good idea to hold it far away and down, but it's not going to prevent damage. Blowdrying or not you will eventually get damage. Everyone experiences shedding, breakage, split ends at some point. It's hair, aferall. Tip 4: You're pretty accurate about that. Tip 5: Doesn't even matter, won't destroy your beard no matter how you cut it, shave it. It grows back. Tip 6: trimming. Once again, it grows back. Tip: My own personal tip for you the guy that made the video: Look man, you're a "bearded farmer" acting like a girl about hair products, there is no need for all these overpriced products that easily add up to someones paycheck. Get yourself a fucking brush/comb, and get one of the cheap oils I mentioned, shampoo and condition with normal shit, put the oil on and continue with your life. It's a fucking beard. It's not a model strip. It's the same way that no one would care if the hand lotion you used was vegan, or not. You can spend your money on any of this shit if you want, but don't go telling someone that wants to grow a beard that all this shit is necessary. A beard is free to grow, just grow one out, and keep it clean, and hydrated. If you see a split end, cut above it with some scissors if you even give a flying shit. It will fall out anyways, your beard sheds and regrows. You're welcome.

Gatis Gaming Yep. I went the lame ass route for a few months and it’s laughable. I use a good conditioner (head conditioner) on my beard and only soap up my beard if it’s seriously in need of cleaning. Aside from that a hot shower and conditioner does the trick. I’ve had my beard exceptionally long and short and nothing is different except the amount of oil or balm I use straightening irons are the easiest way to fuck beard up.

Great comment, lol. I agree with just about everything you stated. I've kind of taken all these trends/suggestions with a grain of salt and modified them over time to suit me. I have found that my beard is healthier if I don't ever use a blowdryer, wash it with a milder facial soap like Cetaphil, use conditioner daily, and put beard oil or beard balm on it while it's wet daily. I confess that I have bought some of Beardbrand's products mostly because of their fragrances which are far better IMHO than most other brands. I view the extra expense as I would a good cologne which I don't mind paying a little extra for. But in the end, it is just a beard for Christ's sake so I try not to obsess over it, lol.

I had to stop using beard oil as no matter which one I used my face would erupt in boils, the trouble is the majority of brands, no matter the price, use 'Comedogenic ingredients' like Almond Oil, Coconut Oil, Algae Extracts, Lauric Acid, Wheat Germ Oil, Shea Butter, Stearic Acid ( the majority of them are all natural ). I now blend eucalyptus and tea tree oil and it work perfectly and is considerably cheaper.

Cowashing with a hair conditioner will not strip the oils from your beard. Using shampoo is bad for the beard because the shampoo strips the natural oils from the face that the beard needs. Conditioner can be used daily according to George Bruno who is a beard specialist and has a KZbin channel. His beard when long is awesome and he cowashes daily. I cowash daily to remove the products from my beard and my beard is soft, never itches, and doesn’t have any split ends that I have seen.

I personally use a beard soap from 'Honest Amish'. Their soaps are all natural, they smell nice (although the smell unfortunately is not very strong once you wash the soap out) and it seems to last for a long time (the soap I'm using at the moment did not recede a lot in size and I've been using it twice a week for about three months now). I know it's not a shampoo but as far as I know it serves the same purpose of a shampoo. If you like their soaps make sure to give their oils and balms a try - they're absolutely great.

My face is oily, and I've found beard oil adds to it. I'm TRYING to keep myself from trimming it, but it's a somewhat difficult task. "Oops y daisy" is something most men go through with trimming. Its' now a "fun" game called "Now This Side Is Shorter".

Actually touching your beard can help stimulate growth. It causes better blood flow and sence your hands a fingers are naturally oily this will help moisturize. Most things that you do without thinking is just your body doing what is needed. Just think about it you don't just rub your face that often when you don't have a beard, because there's no hair to dry it out. But when you have a beard you do it almost instinctively. Well I'm off to order beard beads

God doesn’t want anybody in hell because He loves us, but you must understand why we deserve hell and why those who refuse to live under His authority will go there. He gave us the law (Ten Commandments) not to make us righteous, but rather to show us our sin (Romans 3:20). We’re not sinners because we sin, but rather we sin because we’re sinners. Sin is the nature of our flesh that we are born with due to the sin of Adam in the garden. For someone to be justified before God they have to be sinless. We’ve all sinned (Romans 3:23), and the the law demands death for those who sin (Romans 6:23). God is righteous, so He must punish our sin, which is what He did through His Son Jesus Christ on the cross. Jesus is Holy and sinless, yet He received our sin when He died on the cross, so that we can be righteous before God (2 Corinthians 5:21). When He died on the cross, He said “It is finished” (John 19:30), which means He paid the full price for all of your sins (past, present, and future) to be forgiven. He was buried and rose again from the dead. God will forgive anybody who puts their full trust in Jesus Christ alone for salvation. We aren’t saved based on our good deeds, but only by the grace of God (Ephesians 2:8-9). His precious blood that He shed is the only reason why we can be forgiven of our sins (Hebrews 9:22). If you confess that Jesus is Lord and believe that God raised Him from the dead, then you’ll be saved (Romans 10:9). You are born-again with the Spirit of Christ (2 Corinthians 5:17), and are not only legally justified before God, but also are accredited His righteous (Romans 4:24). Believers live for Christ now, so get to know Him through His Word. I recommend reading the book of Romans and the gospels (Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John), and watching Pastor Joseph Prince’s online sermons!
