As far as I know you need to validate your degree through NORKUT to work in Norway. The processing time has been stopper for many people who have got a job offer. Sometimes, you get a quick decision but sometimes it can take longer and you cannot do much about it. You can the processing time at udi.no

There is no any requirements regarding how old your marriage should be. I have seen cases where the family immigration application was approved for newly married couple as new as a month.

Most likely you need. For Svalbard they may have a different rules if you are already in Schengen Area. Check at UDI.no

I got Employment Certificate for EEA /EFTA nationals. I trying to apply to UDI. But in UDI website have only skill workers & seasonal workers. So I yet didn't find for type this visa. Company said you need to apply for type d visa for unskilled workers. Sir if you don't mind if you know about this please let me know. Company already send agreement & All company side documents including accomodations, salary detail. I have appointment in vfs Coming 20th December. Before I submit my documents I have to pay Visa fees through UDI. If I want to pay Visa fees I need to know what kind of visa. Please help me sir. Thank you

You cannot do anything with Poland TRC. Once you have Polish passport, you can come to Norway and work.

@@villagedalbeauty3093 You can apply from anywhere but to apply for work permit you need to find a job that is relevant to your bachelor degree or as a chef if you have diploma and some years of experience. You cannot apply for work permit for other job.

You need to have enough amount in your accont and your purpose of visit should be clear. Having a letter from a Norwegian friend alone won't help you much.

It is almost impossible. Work permit is only issued to those who have been offered a job in Norway that is relevant to his/her educational background.

Your work experience is definitely a plus point but without speaking Norwegian it is really hard to get a job. I cannot come up with the exact percentage. Except in IT field its really hard to get a job without Norwegian. Good luck :)

Are you aware about Independent contractor visa? I am Independent consultant who is working for US customer from India. Can I shift my business from India to Norway and continue to work with same US customer?

I do not think it is possible. There is nothing as such independent contractor visa, there is one that is called self-employeed skilled worker visa. For this visa, You can get a residence permit if it is necessary for the establishment and further operation of the business that you live in Norway and actively participate in the operation of the business. In your case, it looks like there is no other need to be in Norway to carry out the task. However, I also recommend you to go to udi.no and do your research on this.
