Do you consider plumbing your machine for infinite water without having to fill the water tank? You can also fit a big waterfilter this way

You can’t plumb in the Breville. I have my rocket plumbed in though

@CabeensCoffeeCorner i've seen people do it on videos. It's not an original way to plumb. Breville did not intended that people do this. But it is possible. It works with these sets of hoses and connectors that you use to plumb a refrigerator with water and ice dispenser. And you have to install a float valve in de reservoir and drill a hole. Definitely not easy but it is possible.

Awesome video! I also vinyl wrapped with mine and did the slayer mod - full tutorial for BOTH of those on my channel - I wish I did wrap it in matte white though to match my grinder but it's fine as it is now. I am considering those exact lever upgrades from probably the same and only Etsy seller that makes that specifically for the slayer mod (levers on both sides). I hear changing the basket or shower screen makes no difference in the cup though so I haven't changed it - do you notice a difference in taste or ease of extraction?

@@CabeensCoffeeCorner ya I wanted to keep it as simple as possible though so opted for just the 2 side panels. Doing the front looked like a pain, kudos to you doing it. I am considering taking some leftover to do the front of the drip tray

I have to remove my drip tray everyday, as well as the water tank, or I'll find a cockroach or two in there - especially the drip tray. If I could plumb it, I might go for that

Is your knob for the slayer mod stock or did you change the needle valve? I was under the impression the range from closed to open is very narrow on the stock knob.

Unfortunately since it’s wrapped it’s hard for me to show. Basically it’s like putting on a big sticker. You take the sheet and pull and heat it with a hair dryer to get it around the corners. Then cut with a knife!

Just watch how they wrap mirrors of cars, that's the hardest part, if you can do that you can do everything else

I don't see the reason to stick something onto my beautiful machine because this thing comes with a built in clock and you can set a wake-up-time. The only reason to still stick a switchbot on there would be if I really need a coffee as soon as I get home and could't wait another 10 Minutes to let it warm up normally. Did your machine not come with that function? Maybe it's just for the newer model of the dual boiler?
