***One of the best mods you can do is fit an early R6 rear shock which gives you better and adjustable damping. I had to make up a sleeve for the swing arm-to-shock mount - everything else fitted perfectly. It is worth swapping the KTM spring onto the Yamaha shock as there is no rising rate linkage on the KTM set up. It was such a good upgrade that it showed the front end to be inadequate, a quick fix for that is to extract some of the front fork oil and replace it with thicker 15wt oil.

The overhand extra weight in the bike sometimes changes the vibration characteristics of the motorbike. I bought a frame slider from eBay for my duke 200 and the resonance frequency on the frame slider matches with the frame itself and makes my bike vibrate like it has a seizue.

The MotoGP racer who squeezed his opponent's brake lever during such speed in the midst of a race should have been jailed! That's a crime which could have ended in a lethal accident. It really pisses me off knowing he got away with that action.

@@VJ-qz4fr Thank you. I have just googled that and you are correct. He only got a 2 race suspension but MV Augusta who were planning to sign him up dropped him. And the latest news is that Fenati has become so bitter and so remorseful over this action that he has now resigned from professional motorbike racing. I'm pleased and relieved to read this news. Nice customisation by BP for you on that subcage - does a great job when the bike gets dropped, but yeah, have to remember they are there when going through doorways and the like. I'd love those crash bobbins on my Duke for when I switch it over to a road build - best ones I've seen on the market. I've been talking to BP about them for months but I guess a micro channel like mine needs to be a bit bigger to get any traction with them.

@Matrix324513 жыл бұрын
If you think about it your bike was never symmetrical. You have chain and front brake disc on the left and rear brake disc on the right side of your motorcycle. And the headlights when using short lights in some bikes are only on one side. Idk I don't even own a motorcycle but that kinda makes sense I think.

Nice rear foot pegs, looks cool. But.... I think if you have a fall/slide and this peg catches on something on the road (branch, sidewalk,...) your bike will REALLY go flying through the air. I have my doubts on these bike slide protectors that stick out overall; we are not riding on a smooth racetrack in general...
