I used to work at True Religion and a lot of men were enjoying the slim fit instead of the straight baggy fit! Also, now that I work at Armani I see a trend of men wearing more skinny and slim jeans. Also, slight distressed or even patched ripped jeans are very popular. Sure, teens are wearing them too but when you style them with a nice shirt & sneakers it looks well. It’s popular in the street wear market.

Definitely agree. I am over 35 and wear light colored sometimes slightly distressed washes. Their style of dress is more preppy and not the casual street. Wear whatever the fck you want.

Best fitting Jean's I've worn are the slim taper from Bravestar. Lots of room in the thigh and knee with a perfect taper to the opening. They also do an optional chain stitch hem.

Hey Ash and Dorian! There are men (myself included) who have a slim figure but have a big butt as well. This could be a problem sometimes if you want to wear slim fitting jeans that look good on your legs but are too tight in the seat or thigh area. IMO, distressed jeans can be worn by anybody, at any age. In ages below 25, it gives you a youthful look which matches your age. It's showing the fun, layed back part of this typical youthfulness. I've seen older people wear distressed jeans and look so cool and handsome too! Especially when paired with workwear, and a more rugged look.

Only about 5% of men's jeans look good because they are traditionally cut for comfort whilst doing manual work. Comfort and style just don't mix and men's jeans are generally too heavy, have too much space around the crotch and too much distance between the waist and crotch. This often leads to a look from the back as if you have pooped your pants. Unisex jeans are the way to go.
