At 1:45 ! Can I just warn moms not to hold their babies without head support (like the woman in the video) I only did it once on the couch with my sleeping baby and she did a dive down backwards, in her sleep! Thank god we were on the couch so she didn't hit her head but if I sat with her (or stood) anywhere else she'd been crashing straight onto the floor. I see people carrying their children like this and it makes me so anxious, it's an accident waiting to happen.

We have a 6 week old baby! He is smiling a lot. He is formula and breastfeeding. He sleeps a lot better on his tummy. We are not sleep deprived because we take turns rotating who gets up with him each night

I wouldn't advise you to let him sleep on his tummy. It's not safe. Ever heard of SIDS?😥😥😥

@@ayeshaabdullatif9293 apparently there's no proof that tummy sleeping would cause sids, in fact nobody knows what causes sids for sure. It just happens. In the UK 670000 babies were born last year and 230 died of sids. So it's not even that common.

The term sids was coined for grieving parents who caused their children’s death due to not paying enough attention or giving them a safe space aka suffocation, etc. my 6 week old also sleeps better on his belly! Tummy time is basically just nap time for him 😂 it’s perfectly fine for them to sleep on their stomachs as long as you keep a close eye on him. That’s what I do when I need to get chores done

Night is day and day is night. She sleeps most of the day after a bath only taking breaks to change and feed. She then wakes up at 10 p.m. and can go up to 6 a.m. mostly feeding during that time. She doesn't like to be put down. She wants to be held upright over the shoulder and taken for walks all through!

My baby is 10 weeks old (6 adjusted)hes only smiled really like 3 times :( and hes still so wobbly even with tummy time/neck. He makes a couple grunts and coos but not when he spots us. Doesnt look excited to see us. Hes more alert though watching everything.

This video was terrific and “the good bad and ugly” sums up week six well. Not complaining tho, my beautiful girl has been sleeping through the night for the last 8-9 days. It’s been glorious! Breastfeeding is finally getting easier too. Mum and baby are very happy!

My baby is such a good sleeper I hope he doesn’t have sleep recession he takes a bath around 7 pm then he fall asleep around 10 pm then wake up every 3 hours to eat and wake up around 9:30am takes 3 2-hrs nap

The smiles are so amazing and adorable! Problem is 6 week old grandson only sleeps about 6 hours total in a 24 hour period. Naps are only 45 minutes to 2 hours. Is this normal? He looks exhausted and wants to sleep but he only will fall asleep with nursing.

MaryLynn my 6 week old is the same! When I think he will finally settle for a longer nap, I get about an hour tops during the day! Must say he does sleep at night, though

Sounds like my 6 week old son. He too looks exhausted and wants to sleep but only takes car naps. Maybe 10 min. 30 min. 5 min , if I’m lucky am hour. But he seems to fight his sleep, than in turn is fussy all day. he does better st night. Longer stretches. but doesnt sleep all the way through yet .

Hey Mama! You are doing well. Learning a lot about how other moms do stuff - not just the west. 1. Horrified to learn slept through the night is 11 - 5am. In my country moms co sleep &have round the clock support from their ma, grandma, maid cousin etc up to about 4 mos 2. Stomach and side sleep is very common. SIDs we've learned of online and doctors. Perhaps it's rare due to point 1? 3. Co-sleeping is the norm. Nurseries are rare / frowned upon. Some bougie moms have them now, but even then a nanny will share the room. How about you? Watching this with my 6 week old in my arms

Yeah my mum hated the baby cot(even though it was in my room next to my bed, she called it the cage. She said I should stop caging the baby, he needs to be sleeping next to me on the bed. Lol

I Also feel babies, feels safe sleeping next to their parents than being put down in the cot, that's why most babies refused to sleep in there and will be crying all night making mommy and Daddy tired. It makes it hard for the babies and their caretakers😢.

It's Thia it's so cute to see the smiles. I started giving my 6 week old grandson toys and he is having so much fun..I show him the toys and he is trying to get them almost there! He also loves to look at pictures of his momma and daddy. Anything that's really colorful is going to get their attention! Enjoy your precious baby

My baby cries aaaaaall the time :( she'd only stop if I hold her. It's really difficult. She gets infacol for gas, she's being fed anti reflux food for the spit ups, she's being burped and changed and cuddled and played with and she just cries and cries no matter what. It'd go on 6-8 hours sometimes, she would only doze off for 5 minutes then cry again.

Bianka Toth you poor thing x I have twins that turned 6 weeks today they also take infacol but still cry - I recently purchased a baby wrap/carrier to wear them and guess what... they stopped crying- but I have to wear them. Maybe that might work for you? Best of luck x
