You can deploy webapp on vm using terraform or webapp like paas using the same terraform. Webapp on vm (iaas) has more administrative overhead but lot of flexibility. Whereas plain webapp (paas) has less administrative overhead but limited flexibility. Depends on the situation it can be preferred. PaaS is more preferable.

Anna is it possible to pass this secrets and configmaps through volumes session? is it possible to create this secrets and configmaps through CLI like - -from-literal=values? After creating the pod this secrets is stored in tmpfs or in the disk?

You can mount secrets as values. Also you can use --from-literal=values approach to create secrets but in order to present them to a pod you must you manifest yaml file. Secrets either be mounted as volumes or environmental variables directly from configmap no local storage. Thanks for watching 🙏
