We couldn’t wait…. Ok, I couldn’t wait! Shon gets to have fun on the tractor so I needed something I could use to feel productive too😊 I can’t wait to get out to the property and put it to use!

Good video. I’m getting the Honda engine model. Question, did you rest the chipper on the feed shoot when you laid it over? That will be the hardest part doing with one person. I imagine I will need to brace the wheels too. Thanks

Yes, I did rest the chipper on the feed chute when I laid it over. I did have to chock the feels to keep them from rolling when tilting the chipper.

Really helpful. I just got the same model that you assembled, except with the Honda engine. The nuts and bolts were also loose in the bottom of the box. c'mon Mech Maxx!! You need to specific everything when importing! Your video truly saved me a lot of time putting mine together, which really helped me out on a coldish day in northern Wisconsin today! The truck delivering my chipper was too big to make the hairpin turn in the driveway and I had to assemble mine halfway down the road. What the manual lacked your video made clear, especially the tips on maneuvering the thing to assemble the wheel base, etc. I grew up in TX and enjoyed the familiar looking surrounds. Where I am now has so many tall trees, there will be no end of wood chip supplies for trails, mulch etc.

We are super glad the video helped. Wisconsin huh, Brrrrrrrr 🤣😂. Bet that was a big adjustment from Texas! Sounds like you have lots of wood for your chipper! I think you are going to love it! We were finally able to use ours for the first time and it was impressive! Let us know how it goes!

Hello, any particular reason you chose the Kohler engine over the Briggs and Stratton? Thanks..
@r-ranchadventuresАй бұрын
The reason I chose Kohler was because I had a bad experience with a Briggs and Stratton engine on a generator, that is the only reason. Having said that there is probably nothing wrong with the B&S, I am scarred by a one bad experience.

@r-ranchadventures Thanks for the quick reply. My zero turn has a Kohler and wanted to get the same but the P4206 chipper with the Kohler is sold out and only the B&S is left for the Christmas sale. Going to give them a call Monday and see if I can maybe put it on backorder. Hopefully it is still working out good for you, I need one for a 13 acre mostly wooded lot I just purchased to help clean it up a little.

We love our chipper, it is a huge asset for clearing underbrush, trails, and tree debris. No issues at all so far.
