Where did you get the large flat cork barks

What is the one stringy plant draped over the side of the log in the middle of the tank?

Where did you get the cork panels from? Your the first person I’ve seen use them
@jimattolino477729 күн бұрын
Graingers or a company called AmCork carry them

Awesome 🙌🏽 How much did you spend on glass/getting it cut?
@cams_frogs Жыл бұрын
The glass was about 350$ total but I’m in Canada so it’s probably cheaper depending where you live

Looking great, do u find that plants grow slower without any nutrients in the filter mat? (Assuming u don’t fertilize)
@cams_frogs Жыл бұрын
It takes them a bit longer to get started but after about 2 weeks growth is the same as any other substrates

@@cams_frogs i second this and a decent way to add some nutrients is to let a banana peel sit in a cup of water for a day and use that to spot water. its also frog/animal safe!
@cams_frogs Жыл бұрын
that’s a super cool idea I’m definitely going to try that out
@TheTropicalYard Жыл бұрын
@@cams_frogs seems a bit risky considering bananas are sprayed with all sorts of chemicals, but if you’re not putting any frogs in you could try it out
