Thanks for the video! Nice and simple, not 45 minutes of nonsense before and after doing what we want to see! I'll definitely be following the channel!

Thanks for the tip, the paper clip in ACC position was the "key" mystery for me. Prior to that, I used a tool to removed the bezel and took the entire thing out, it still can be done, as I did on a 68 Mustang, similar to what your on there! Thanks!

Thanks for sharing. All I know is that it is a real beeotch getting the key tumbler back into a new ignition switch outside of the car. Gonna try mounting the Ignition switch in place wired up, and with bezel in place. Just can't seem to get the it to line up and drop into it's proper position.

I just want to add that you absolutely HAVE to disconnect the battery before removing the lock cylinder. If you don't you will have a major fire on your hands. My friend just fried his entire wiring harness on his 66 Mustang by removing it with the battery connected.

Just unscrew the bezel and pop the entire ignition out the back. You can get a new ignition for like 10-20 and a new tumbler with key for 10-20 at advanced. That’s all I did for my 68’ mustang. Now I can take out crowds like the rest of em’.

ive heard you use a small drill and drill out the lock, once you drill it out... buy a new ignition switch, they come with a new set of keys...
