24K Gold Music Shows (originally Rockabilly U.S.) was an all-volunteer not-for-profit touring show that performed from March 2005 to March 2015 in Florida. The show closed, because revenue did not cover expenses. Fortunately, nearly 1,000 hours of video survive. The lead singer is Loren Doyle Armstrong (1947-2019), who was the founder and manager. He used $1 million of his own money to get the organization started. The organization peaked at about 150 group members. All were Doyle’s extended family or close friends. Anita (black dress) starts the opening song. Tammy (black dress) joins as co-lead. For "One Fine Day," Jeanine and Marlene are co-leads, but I think Jeanine has the dominant voice. Cheryl (left) and Rox are co-leads for "Da Doo Ron Ron." Tammy is Doyle's daughter. Marlene is Doyle's daughter-in-law. Jeanine is Cheryl's older sister. They are the backup singers for the show, but they also perform as a very talented girl group. In the final scene, Tammy gives her husband Tim a kiss. He plays bass guitar.

Thanks for this recap. Difficult for those of us not in show business to know the names of the performers. The ladies just nail this collage and being the jerk I am, I'd only make one tweak if I were king. I think I'd put Jeanine as lead on the fade-out for Da Doo Ron Ron. I swear Jeanine must have closely studied Judy Craigs style for One Fine Day - thought she hit all the nuances that Judy put into the song. Watching these ladies do my favorite girl group songs just gives me the chills! The band is hot as well.

@@stevegrothe7877 Jeanine is definitely a superstar. When she performs as lead, her whole body expresses the music and the lyrics. The other women to the same to some degree, but Jeanine excels. Cheryl and Lauren are very good, too.
