Stellar job, mate, sounds fantastic! The surging bit around "Always came a time / Time was by your side" has always sounded to me overdubbed on the original record, because it feels like the hat, the snare, and a tom go all at the same time, the hat doing a different pattern from the other two (because you'd need 3 hands and 2 brains to play it, i imagine). Would you agree? You've nailed that bit as well.

I used to be a drummer, and I know how difficult it is to play Simple Minds. I would always first choose to play Judas Priest's "Painkiller"(which I did play back in the day), before I would choose Simple Minds. Well done! I am especially fascinated by your fills on the splash cymbal and the break part where the snare drum sounds like a train. Congratulations Zach, and keep it up.
