❗A few notes! 🌟You absolutely do not need ALL of these materials - take this as inspiration for what your little one may be interested in! 🌟Your child may be interested in these activities at an earlier or later age, and that is the beauty of Montessori 🥰 Activities from 14-15 and even 12-13 months are still relevant! 🌟I've tried to link everything in the description box but let me know if you're looking for something that's not there!

Awwhhh love the slippers Huda's just about learnt to wear her teddy slippers now i bet stella likes taking them off and putting them away. All these stacking matching activities are really good for the positioning schema too I love using items around the house for sorting like sea shells and cutlery Thanks again we got the nuts and bolts after your short clip and Huda is keen on it Omf Threading beads!!!! The current fave! The textiles genes within her are activated lol We had some difficulty with the keys so had to delay that activity a bit but watching stella with it i have hope soon she'll try again. Awwwwhhh the night light or flash light is the cutest thing Huda loves using the sequined scarf taking it right under the light or in the sunlight to manipulate it so this will be great. Huda appreciated the glue stick activity which i copied from stella lol Awwhhh I'm so happy i got the baby yoga book as we have been doing it for a while now but when we went to my cousin/best friend's house this was a great group activity Huda kept making evryone do that cat pose and ran away when we did the cow pose. She learnt the names of a bunch of them so it really helped. All of the practical life activities are great and i think actually seeing Mia do the coat flip helped so i might show her Stella doing some of these activities. Can't believe how quickly they've just started to do all these things we have been working on and it only takes a few attempts when we show a new activity for them to grasp it. Its so cool to watch Stella handling all these materials and accomplishing so many tasks. I loved how long this video was assuming it because she's just doing SO MUCH now hahahah.

Stella has a love hate relationship with anything on her feet. She's really proud of her fluffy socks and meow meow slippers, but will also take them off throughout the day and hide them, showing off really proudly that they're gone 😅 But our house floors are SO COLD right now, even slippers aren't enough. So it's a constant scavenger hunt here. Stella was so so frustrated that she couldn't get the beads, even though she was pretty good with the lacing block. But now that she's got it, she puts a whole bunch on and pulls it around the house like a pull toy 🤣 Which baby yoga book do you have? I still haven't purchased one but I'm also getting to a point where I can't do a workout each time Stella pulls out the yoga mat. We still haven't been able to get the coat flip down. Even I can't get the coat to rotate on Stella's arms. I wonder if it's all the layers causing it to bunch up? Yes, there was just SO MUCH over the past 3 months that I couldn't find anything that was any less important to remove 😭 Her skills just skyrocketed at this age! I'm thinking there may not be as many new concepts in the next few months, but will need to gauge if I stick with 3 month intervals or go back to 2 😅 There were A LOT of clip to go through here!

@@MariaandMontessori ahahah thats so funny i can't. Stella is great be proud of your abilities to change something you are not happy with and take control where you can its funny she shows you cant wait for those days where they'll start hiding items and different experiments from us 😅 hopefully positive discipline will reduce that🤞🏼 Aahh yess the self created pull toy its so cute how proud she is of her final product and then i gotta make sure the beads return to shelf and not under the sofa or fridge👀 😅i feeel you on the enrgy to keep doing the yoga sessions when she pulls the book out but i got her to pretend play with her stuffed animals lining tem.up as though she's their instructor hahahhaits funny and im at ease at least until i can actually play hide and seek with her. I accept the feeling she has of wanting to play With me but still set the expectation of waiting for me. We could read another book or we can play hide and seek once we have done with dinner etc. Awhhh i didn't think it erased going to happen at this age but she had the desire to learn so maybe seeing me do the flip with my jacket and then seeing mia and another kid do it somehow helped her realise what to do with her arms and head. Once she has gotten into more of these self care tasks would that be a possible future video? Soooo much development so many skills i get it and now you said 3 months i realised hust how different the previous video was. I like these long ones but the shorter ones every 2 months might be nice too especially for you to edit. I really liked the clips of her doing all the activities its soooooo worth really helps us to prepare them too and figure out which will work for us.

What a tremendous amount of work you must have put into this video. Im always trying to stay one step ahead of my girl to make sure we have the materials she will need to stay engaged and challenged. Your videos are so helpful and full of great ideas! Two questions: How many shelf activities do you have out for Stella at a time? And how often do you rotate activities?
@MariaandMontessori3 жыл бұрын
Thank you so much 🥺 I definitely have a lot of sleep to catch up on, but these are my favorite videos to put together and I always get such great feedback from everyone! I tend to look ahead of Stella's age as well and it's really helpful! Aside from her art and music activities, Stella has her 8 shelf work activities in her playroom, about 6 practical life options in our kitchen (pouring, transferring, folding, etc...other practical life is always available), and 6-8 open ended play options in our living room. I keep a couple options of any of these upstairs for when I need to get practical life work done but she's not interested in joining. We slowly added these areas as I found Stella gravitating towards different types of play throughout the day because we are home all day every day. If she went to daycare or if we weren't mid-pandemic, a smaller amount may have sufficed! I have a playroom and home tour to show what those spaces look like here kzbin.info/www/bejne/sGq7f6loe9Fnjq8 and here kzbin.info/www/bejne/rJaVd2inZrSIp5I And I've been posting updates in our shelf rotations per popular request as shorts! As for rotations, the short answer is I don't have a set schedule. I do check in once a week to make sure I haven't completely forgotten about it, but other than that, I watch her cues. I went into detail on that process in a video as well! kzbin.info/www/bejne/jprdopiaoLN9jNk

@@AmmaraSHAH773377 is there a link in your previous comment that KZbin has removed? Overall I think it's possible to utilize just about anything, especially if it has realistic images! It's something that we had worked on consistently from the beginning - things that can and cannot be mouthed. By this age, she knew how to explore toys without mouthing them and knew where to go if she was hungry for a snack.

i dont know what kid i have but she is not interested in any of those. doesnt try, if she tries (one or 2 tries before leaving) there is no color matching nor thinking. i hoped she would like throwing ball but no thats also not interesting. she likes dolls but she doesnt try dressing them
@MariaandMontessori Жыл бұрын
She may need activities to scaffold her skills to these activities- we worked on other activites in earlier videos to set her up for success here. And I model how to do each activity, watch what she does with it, and modify. Kids will be most likely to concentrate on activities they choose, so if it's not any of this, then see what she IS doing. How IS she trying to explore the world?
