Hairspray technique as seen on ‪@daniel..cooper‬
Using the Hairspray on the octopus mould gives you a speckled look similar to a real octopus.
Items used were
Pams super hold Hairspray (any brand should work)
Chameleon powder
Boyle crafty resin
Black pigment paste

He looks absolutely amazing Trish! This is one of my very favourite ‘hairspray technique’ results yet… and I’ve seen quite a few!! It is Daniel’s original technique and, yes, he is somewhat of a resin guru!! It just amazes me how they come up with some of these things… I mean, what guy accidentally sprays hairspray into a silicone mould??? 😂😂 I’ve made a couple of pieces myself with great results… and I’m still experimenting!! I want to use his technique in a turtle mold that I have! Just have to get some hairspray. 😊 This octopus is absolutely amazing! Perfect technique for this kind of mold! ❤❤❤ Absolutely love the color choice! Oh I bet that crab would look amazing with the hairspray technique too!

I used 6mm glass eyes from temu sorry I can't find the link for them. I know they were a mixture of different colours and style though
