For bluegill - look under a log, any log... live bait. Grab a piece of bread from a trash can, put a flower or feather, a blade of grass on a hook, really anything and move it across a school of bluegill and you're good.

whenever you used the bell the reel cant be left open , the bell only works when the rod is bending so it wont ring if the line is moving but not the rod itself

Fishing I love doing it but I have some trouble with catching bass. I catch them on frog jig and curly tailed worm weight jig. But what are some tips and some nice lures and what the best area is during a certain time of day like deep water, mid shallow, shallow, bank? Also I fish in fresh water only. Thx

14 is a great age to start fishing, and fishing is not an expensive hobby. You can get a decent rod from Walmart between 10-20 bucks. I recommend starting with a 3 dollar spinnerbait if you’re worried about money and maybe some hooks if you want to dig your own worms. You can start quite cheap. Hope this helps and you can ask me more questions if you want
