David makes risk management very easy even for the pedestrian to understand. Thank you. I want to find out whether He has scheduled webinars for this year.

Thank you Baluku. Webinars and online events happen from time to time on request, but we don't have a defined schedule. But everything is published here, so if you subscribe then you'll be notified when a new video is available.

Thank you Alexei, I'm glad these videos are helpful for you. From your name, I wonder if you might speak Russian? The Risk Doctor Briefing series is available on our website in Russian (and six other languages) here: risk-doctor.com/briefings/ You might like to take a look.

Yes, I'm Russian, but I've been learning English for several years. It's very important to me because of having communication with foreigners

I applaud your commitment to communicating widely. I just thought you might like to read some short risk articles in your mother language!

First, Thank you for your extraordinary work. I am currently working on a paper and want to make szre that I understand risk appetite, risk treshhold and risk attitude correctly. The risk treshhold shows how much or how less risk, someone is willing to take. This expression can be seen as the risk appetite, to show what the amount of risk is that someone is willing taking normally. And risk attitude moderates the risk appetite if someone has to take more or less risk and cross the risk treshhold to achieve the goals. Have I understand this terms correctly? Thank you

Hi, thanks for your comment. You're mostly correct. Risk appetite is the internal intangible drive to take risk in a given situation, which we can express in external tangible measurable form using risk thresholds. Risk thresholds are quantified against objectives. We aim to manage risk exposure to stay within risk thresholds. If this is not possible, we can consider adopting a different risk attitude to moderate the inherent risk appetite, leading to adjusted risk thresholds. This means operating outside our comfort zone, and it requires intentional and deliberate choice to do so. I hope this clarifies. Full details are in my book "A short guide to risk appetite" www.routledge.com/9781409440949

That's right. We need to understand both, and be clear about the difference between them.
