yeah like it just makes sense, everyone likes having a ramen shop there so theres no reason to steal the shit that makes the ramen shop, here in america someone would steal some of that shit for their home or to pawn for meth money or just out of stupid cruelty to litter it somewhere else 1000% of the time.
You would have to scrape me off of the ground just after the setup. And then he cooked all night and then broke everything down for the next day? This man is a machine. Much respect.
Seriously, after watching a video like this I realize, that my office job (that I hate) is slacking in comparison to what people like these do everyday. Absolute mad respect for having the discipline, patience and emotional strength to do this day, after day, after day. I am filled with resentment from not having everything in life easy, and not earning more money with less work. I would really love to know how people like this accept their everyday work and do all this with smile on their faces. Fascinating and amazing - this man and his wife deserve peace and success.

It always amazes me how clean, compact, and efficient Japanese food preparation spaces (yatai and little restaurants or stands) are arranged and work is done. I know Japanese sanitation rules are very strict as well as general cultural standards. And for yatai, everything has to be set up, broken down every day, in addition to cleaning and preparing for the next day! I use to go with colleagues & friends to eat ramen or oden after our weekly night of drinking and eating (and sometimes Mr. Donuts & coffee) in Tokyo before everyone took a taxi home. I miss the yatai. These setups with gas, electricity & water in Hiroshima & Fukuoka are special and I hope the yatai can be saved.

This is why i hold deep respect for Japan and Japanese culture. Not only does the government support such stalls but provides them with proper amenities and charge them exactly for what they use. Everyone's doing their work how they're supposed to without much being said! If this isnt amazing idk what is. Of course im not gonna completely ignore that there will be exceptions to this everywhere including Japan. But most places are lile this and that's something amazing to see.
