8TB ssd? I don’t think I’ve ever used 2 TB of storage in my lifetime of using computers lol.

its 4TB though😄 But yeah it depends on what you‘re doing with your computer. some people don‘t need that amount of storage space👍🏼

Got the base m4 from a base m1. 512gb is absolutely enough for me but creators need to edit and export like ProRes video on mac, 5 minutes=36gb ssd space consumed. Not to mention those who make movies. Yet only 1-2 % of the users need more than 1tb storage
