6:30 I think a shove is an overplay. The fact he folded a 9 high flush says everything.

@@NextGenPoker the shove is fine. There’s 1k on the pot and he has only 500 behind. It was just a good fold by him. He had to call 500 to win a 2400 pot total. You played it perfectly. Specially on the turn if you raise there you’re probably not getting any more value.

@@easystring1885 the problem is unless you're an extremely aggressive player or playing against complete stations you only get called by better. Hands like A A have an easy fold, smaller flushes can fold. The reason is when it goes bet, bet, big bet on a diamond river he is already representing a very narrow range of hands so Q high flush becomes much weaker. I'm not saying we can't ever get called by worse but if 9 high flushes are folding it obviously isn't great

I think it was a good fold on the river Frankie although I feel like checking the flop was a mistake. Majority of the time you're going to C bet your entire range there so why not c bet with top top? You either get a call and can put her on a hand or win $250 without much of a sweat.

Thanks for the comment and kind words. I would take some time to learn push fold charts when you have less than 20 big blinds. Biggest advice for bounty style tournaments is to focus on getting a big stack early in the tournament! You can't win any bounties if you don't cover your opponents! Hope this helps and good luck on the felt.

Folding AKc at 16:00 is the right decision. You have NO spades and she is not shoving knowing you might have a single spade if hers isn't the best or at least a high spade. No disrespect to her but most low stakes players, particularly women, play the river straight up and NEVER jam for everything on a bluff. Big river bluffs are almost exclusively a high stakes maneuver because of the amount of leveling that is necessary for they bluffer and the person being bluffed to understand. It's quite possible she turned the flush and had an A - which is why she didn't bet the turn.
