Always good to see an A4, I was on an excursion being hauled by 60009 from York to Kings Cross, the top speed was recorded at 85mph Cheers John 👍

That type of locomotive the A4 holds the world speed record for steam traction set in 1938 of 126mph…. It was between Grantham and Peterborough and that engine was called Mallard..The engine in my video Sir Nigel Greeley was named after the designer of the A4…You may already know this.
