A few corrections: - The 530i doesn't have 230hp, it has 248hp. - The M550i does not in fact have larger front side air dams. They're the same size as the regular M Sport bumper, but don't have fog lights. - The M550i in the US does not get the M logos on the front fenders, only in Europe and a few other markets. - "S1" does not stand for Dinan Stage 1, it refers to Dinan's S1 Signature Package.

Parker you have to wait a couple seconds when it is floored and then a checkered flag comes onto the middle screen then release the brake. Thats how the launch control works on mine... (as outlined in the owners manual)

Actually it is. Depends on your personal likes. The M5 beats you up in the city. This car is smooth as butter. The M5 is a track purposed machine, this has the same power and you can still go out to eat with the family

Dude, you're so young...the Honda Prelude in 1998 had rear wheel steering, as did a fair few other "normal" cars. I think some Porsche's had it in the 80's as well.

Most interesting. I 'd definately go for the upgraded interior , like the layout inside unfussy and seems ergonomic . The exterior you can see influences from other manufacturers but you can still tell its a BMW at a glance. Wish they hadn't put the badge on the wing it shortens the front of the car. I wish companys wouldn't do that put the extra badges at the front and back of the car Why mess up the lines from the side ? Parker if you could go into a little more detail on comfort modes as in the U.K. we have a fair share of roads that will need that mode. For intances how does the car cope with minor put holes the noise produced etc.. Cool vids keep em coming. Thanks.

Parker, without even researching anything, Im going to say that the 1987-1991 prelude offered 4WS, as well as the Mitsubishi Galant VR4, and lets not forget the Twin Turbo 300ZX with Nissans Super HIcas, which was also in some of the Skylines and Sylvias of the time. And dood... haircut.

Mike Arredondo it’s 93k loaded, vs $120-130k loaded. Think of it as a M5 turned down from 11 to 9. I wanted something fun, but I’m never gonna track it, so I got the m550. I have only had mine 3 months but love it. I may do Dinan tune and exhaust later but so far stock is surprisingly rapid already. GREAT EVERYDAY DRIVER!

Mitsubishi Galant VR4 and GTi Dynamic4 as well as Honda Prelude and BMW 850CSi had AWS back in 1990 :) Just saying, Dynamic AWS is nothing new... just more enhanced... and it functioned exactly as you described back then ;)

its the dinan tune not bmw´s. i dont like it as well and the normal bmw one sounds nice but is very quiet due to it being a commuter car in the first place, if u want sound listen to the m5, it sounds better then most amg´s imho

Yoko Ritona M5 has never sounded better AMGs. Look at all comparison KZbin videos . AMGs Sound mean, brutal and beastly. Ima big bmw fan I owned an e46. But lately they’ve lost me And a lot of folks.... The last good sounding m5 was maybe the e60 V10

comparison youtube videos? okay i get how old you are.. i drove those cars and have heard almost all of the actual m and amg cars in person, bmw´s sounds much more like an actual sporty v8 like in the dtm used. amg´s nowadays just scream for attention, loud as hell but no real soul. the 6.2 liter engine was their last great sounding v8, this new 4liter v8 sounds like almost nothing without their exhaust system.
