609 - The Surge in Anti-Trans Bills and Attacks on LGBTQ+ Health

In what way are the LGB's being impacted by anti-trans bills? From what i can gather they are sick of being lumped in with them and want a divorce.

one of the doctors said that mental health improvement came within days of the first hrt shot. from my own personal experience, the relief for my mental health wasn’t within a few days, it was instant. all i could think was “it’s over, im not stuck being my birth gender anymore, i can finally start moving forward, i finally have a chance”. i’m sure the relief i felt wasn’t from the hormones themself but from knowing the hardest phase of my life was finally something that was behind me. and when i got top surgery two weeks ago, it was the same exciting relief now knowing that the fight is finally over. my only two real regrets around any of this was 1) not drinking enough water the day before surgery and 2) not doing this shit sooner. my transition means i can move o with my life and get back to taking care of myself and trying to reach my goals, get my degree, and enjoying my time on this earth. just wanted to share my personal experience for anyone willing to read (thanks if you got this far btw).

The more of these bills that Republicans can pass and sign into state law the better. And the huge numbers of Alphabet Soup People this pisses off is an added bonus. Seriously I haven't laughed this hard in a long time.
