I have two of these one just like yours a nd one black with gold trim. I nodded both of mine with dumbo long range radios, heavy duty steering servo , 45 amp speed cotrol. And I put a fpv aio camera on it and it is awsome. I have a video of one of then on youtube.

Ahh, so you left the stock axles intact, including the stock wheels/tires? I guess for FPV activities that's sufficient. I was thinking of eventually getting a Redcat Danchee and swapping the body+cage, so I could crawl with it, and upgrade wheels/tires.

Hey Buddy! Part of me thinks you bought this just for the challenge of making it usable/compatible with a hobby grade rig. 😂 . The cage and body were definitely worth the price you paid.Not sure about the rest of it. I’ll be waiting for the next video LOL have a good day

Mid Life R/C The cage and its potential is what appealed to me, so you nailed it. 🤓 Thanks, bud!

I have one and it's great, unless you want it to go fast or last long. I'm in my second week of playing with my dog and make her run, but this truck is really slow pace and now, doesn't turn anymore. All sprokets or whatever are made so cheap that even with cheap motors, direction and all other sprokets seem to be overused and make more noise than efects.

Yes, it is only toy-grade, so it won't hold up to any real crawling or bashing. The cage and body are pretty good, in my opinion, and I believe it could be mated to the axles and electronics from a Redcat Danchee.

nice video.. one newbie question, kinda new to RC and i'm starting to like it... Could i put a 11v 3s battery pack in this? or would that burn the motors ?
@rcdabbler4 жыл бұрын
Thanks for watching. Running a 3S would probably burn it up, since it's just a toy-grade RC.

@@rcdabbler thank you. Any advice on a "budget" RC? new to this and I don't want to spend 500$ + on a good one.
@rcdabbler4 жыл бұрын
@@spiderunp If you go too cheap, you get a cheap experience, and likely will lose interest, which is pretty much the logic with any hobby that involves equipment. I would recommend something that has a good aftermarket of hop-ups, like an Element RC Trailwalker or SCX10 II Deadbolt. Traxxas TRX-4 Sport is a little more expensive, but very durable.

Sis, this car can't stand going through deep puddles of water, because I've seen people playing with their cars when it's raining heavily, the point is, is this car waterproof ?

My mom just got my son one of these we have hobby grade ones but can’t charge it on my chargers . How long does it take on the usb charger it comes with I heard you say after a few uses the battery gets better

Any other cheap rate 1:8 cars like these??

You can search around on Banggood.com to find similar offerings. Just remember, you get what you pay for. I just wanted the body/cage off this one, knowing it wasn't a hobby-grade model.
