There is certain sort of beauty in simplicity which made me fall in love in fish keeping and aquariums. love it...

I love the discussion of the classic aquarium technology, if you do an 'old school' planted tank I'll do an 'old school' mini reef

I started with Aquariums in 1984. Juwel Aquarium, T8 light bulbs, Eheim 2211 filter and Jäger heater. After a couple of years I bought exactly this tetra CO2 system. But my reactor was not green it was a grayish version. Next upgrade was a Dennerle flipper... I feel old now!

Yes! I've been looking everywhere for an idea like this! Can you make another video showing more? Can I build something larger behind a 3d fiberglass background? You are amazing!

You're terrible English was great! This video is a super simple explanation and made it really easy to understand. (by the way your English is really good, I didn't have any problems understanding you)

Oliver: you're still a "typical, funny German", just like my 2 room mates. did you make a video on how you build the filter into the back of the tank?

I'm interested in the build too. Which material did you use to build the chambers. Doesn't seem to be glass?! Thanks for the information Oliver.

Your filtration arrangement makes absolutely no sense. What's even the point in sandwiching ceramic bio media between filter sponge? That first chamber to the left should flow down and then come up. The sponges should be the first step in filtration followed by bio media and then polishing pads. Why would you put the polishing pads before the sponges. This video is absolute nonsense. Don't setup your aquarium this way people.

It does not really matter. Since floss will trap the fine particuls it wil certainly catch the larger one's.... And since it is right on top and easy to to service no trouble at all.

Plagiarism gone wrong , water will follow the shortest path ignoring the heater , this can be fixed with an additional wall , still a waste of space and ofc a waste of time .
