Now I wish I had that Show Pony when I was making the music for my video series on the history of Knott’s Berry Farm. So thematically appropriate, and it’s got the sound I was chasing.

Absolutely love them. Just when you think you've seen it all. I grew up in the west's most western town; what's not to like? A little bit of Gretch vibe also. I would add cloud shaped fret markers. When you said in a sea of guitars your eye would immediately go to those is a huge statement and true.

Personally, I’d want one with a really dark stain. Wood grain still visible, but more of a burnt wood look would be sick. Absolutely gorgeous guitars!

These look like a Western take on a TV Jones guitar. Like a Gibson Les Paul meets a TV Jones guitar meets a Gretsch Roundup. Interesting to mix up Art Deco with Western motif but that definitely screams Downtown Phoenix!🏜️😎👍✨

Amazed that anyone Knows about Tom’s guitars. I don’t know how many people actually buy his made in USA stuff, but it seems like they are pretty rare. There were very few of his Cort Baritone and Sunset models made / sold, but they were the best “cheap” guitars ever. I also feel compelled to tell a bit of his history that no one knows because he never talks about himself (too cool / busy). Tom actually started as an instrument tech at World of Strings in Long Beach. The main guy that gave me a break in the biz, bass genius Buell Neidlinger, would only trust Tom to work on his priceless Italian basses (featured in every Star Wars movie / every John Williams score from 1971 to 1999 and countless other soundtracks). My very long-winded point is that Tom Jones is pretty much of a God. @ToneRangerGuitars We are neighbors, we should hang sometime soon

Just hearing the Show Pony so far, it sounds like it should be used for a Quentin Tarantino movie soundtrack. Could the lighter strings on the bass VI be because of the wiggle stick? And when you fuzz it, it gives me to the 60's psychedelic vibes. Then it goes into spaghetti western vibes as you rotate through the pedals. And was that Ghost Riders in the Sky? You should do something with that jam, take it into a full 5 or 6 minute track and put it up for download.

Same! The flashy stuff kinda turns me off. I mean, I'm awed by the flash players, but it's distracting for a gear demo. Ryan's demos are great: in-depth, relevant, and fun to watch.

Just to be picky the bigsby arm on the guitar seems too far back for my taste. And the bass 6 guitar I'd like there to be a switch for the bridge and the neck pickups together. But that's just me being picky. These are super cool. I wish I had the money I'd buy one...or two. haa.

Those are some sweet lookin guitars but those cases too man! Wow, the case is right up my alley though the guitars' styling is a bit too audacious for my personal tastes, they do look cool though. There are alot of details I really do love and would totally rock in my own guitar, its just a bit much all together and omg I really love the reclaimed wood thing as well! Actually ya know what? Im only hating on the styling because I hate gold hardware, the more I look at it the more I think I could totally be happy with a gal like that.
@ToneRangerGuitars11 күн бұрын
Thank you! I want the cases to be as much of a part of the experience as the guitars, I’m glad you like them! And I totally understand not liking gold hardware, I’ve got the same model with nickel available as well!
