@agh0x01 Yes, there was an illegal, violent coup against a president who was elected by people in the East and South of Ukraine. There was resistance against the coup, including in Kharkov. The 'interim' Ukrainian government, led by an ultranationalist, then decided to invade the resisting areas.

What risks ? Ukrainians beat the Russians so badly (at least on the internet) and Russians have only shovels to fight with, and every Ukrainian easly kills 20 Russian soldiers. How Zelenski said only 50 000 loses on his side(+/- x20) just the question remains where did the 2 000 000 enlisted Ukrainian soldiers went that another 500 000 are needed ? I have been to Ukraine during the war. As have many westerners. A group of doctors I traveled with two years ago wept at the Ukrainian children they treated that had been raped by Russian troops. They also marveled at the courage of young soldiers, who although injured, sometime gravely, just wanted to get back to the front and continue defending their land. I imagine you’ll call me a liar too. But I have to ask-why? What makes you so certain that these reports are false? That they are liars? That I am a liar? I could put you in touch with close to a hundred volunteers that will give you their own accounts of being in Ukraine. And they will tell you this isn't propaganda. Would you believe them? Would you be willing to go there yourself and see the reality with your own eyes? Dismissing the suffering of millions as "propaganda" without firsthand knowledge feels deeply unjust. I ask this of all of you, who commented here.

The people that now scream for democracy pulled off a coup against a democratically elected president. This is why there is a war now in Ukraine but they will never say that

Exactly, 800,000 Ukrainian draft dodgers .... so much for fighting for 'democracy' let alone their own country.

Yeah, that was about as sophomoric and just plain vapid and ignorant as it gets. Dang. Oh how far 60 Minutes has fallen... A damn crying shame that the very lives, freedom, safety, independence, and well-being of Ukraine (and every other place) must rely on those insipid "doll-in-a-box" dufuses to reach the rest of the civilized world.

Ukrainians are fighting not just for our right to exist but also for the values that are the foundation of the entire Western world. We might be oceans apart from Americans, yet we are united in the fight for freedom. We don’t ask for you to come fight for us; we ask for the weapons and support you would give your very best. Because we are those people, standing firm for shared principles and the freedom that defines us all.

Your country is just as corrupt and despotic as Russia. You can’t have elections? Wtf? We had elections in the middle of the American Civil War. You can have elections. You just don’t want to. Because Zelensky is no better than Putin.
@yellowtunes275611 күн бұрын
Какие ещё "values of western world" ?

Sadly many westerners have no idea how evil their govt is. They still some how believe that it is their birthright to remove leaders they don't like and steal natural resources from smaller countries. Ask them why it's OK for them to seize Syrian oil and occupy their land and they will have no answer to it

Trump can't do anything. Why? PUTLER does not want to stop advancing and Ukraine will NEVER stop defending ALL their sovereign territory, including CRIMEA. War since 2014. Tsaplienko is a true hero. Live long, Andriy, and keep doing your amazing work. 👍 Slava Ukraini! 💪💪 M 🦘🏏😎
