The Netflix Series has me on the edge of my seat throughout the 3 episode. But what I notice, the real mvp is the Chinese dude that got away from the two bomber brother. He call the police letting them know that the two kidnapper was the Boston marathon bomber. But the police did a horrible job at executing the situation. And yet the Chinese dude didn't get any credits for his part.

They said Danny Meng was pretty much solely responsible for ending it. The kid memorized his lengthy GPS ID #. The police had a problem because literally thousands showed up from as far as way as Maine and New Hampshire. Many were NOT authorized to go to Boston. This created chaos and ultimately led to them missing Meathead in the boat

My Dad and I were there. We'd gone to visit my sister in Norwell from the UK and had decided to go watch the marathon the night before. We were there, watching the home straight runners from the block near the shopping mall/ finish line on Boylston Street. We had a lucky escape, I was walking towards the site as I wanted to find a bathroom but the crowds were too overwhelming, so we turned back and started walking down Boylston the other way. Then came the blast noise, the city in lockdown terror and days of panic whilst they searched. A time we will never forget... Thoughts go out to everyone still affected, 10 years on...

Wow, I was in high-school when this happened. So many girls were sad about the bomber being locked away because of how "cute" he was, none of them really mentioned the older brother, and probably don't even know that there even WAS another bomber. Everyone was so fixated on how attractive he was and how it was unfair that things played out the way that they did. It was so bad that when his face was the front page of the news paper, girls where running into corner stores and ripping the front page off just so they can hang it in their room or something.. I will never forget hearing about how a little girl's legs were blown off by that pressure cooker he and his brother made. Crazy..

I'm a little older, I was 15 and at grade 9 in high school. I remember this day like it was yesterday too. My mom was making breakfast and I and my other siblings were waiting and we turned on the old 2000s style box-like TV in the living room on April 16, 2013 to see this on the news. It was so horrible to see that this happened and to all of the victims of this tragedy. Fast forward to 10 yrs later, I'm now 25 but still remember April 2013 like it was yesterday. I'm so sorry to anyone who lost a loved one to this tragedy and hope that the victims have recovered well now, 10 yrs later. I graduated as an aircraft tech now and well on my to receive my Bachelor's degree in Aerospace engineering so I can serve humanity. I had just turned 14 when this happened. Boston and my state has a 6-hour timezone difference, so I first heard the news and saw the video of the bombs going off on Twitter first thing in the morning. At that time in middle school, my friends and i would consume violent media like Creepy Pasta, playing the Slender Man game, watching PewDiePie play horror games, Bloody Trap Land, Happy Tree Friends, etc... @@Annelita1116 Alina Tsarneva did not threaten to bomb anyone, that was lies from a jealous ex of Alina's husband. I have no idea if Katherine is back living with the sisters, last I heard was that she had moved out with her daughter. But if she went back to live in New Jersey then so what? She did not know at all btw, OR maybe it was FBI entrapment, Tamerlan could've been an informant? Read Michelle Mcphee's book, some of what she says coincides with what some of the supporters of the Free Jahar movement have been saying all along. And I say SOME not all because there were a few fringe conspiracies that make no sense from that support group, but another perspective to look into because still so many unanswered questions from that bombing. Also, I do believe that Jahar was controlled by his brother, the mother is a radical lunatic, a narcissist who made her family become super religious and controlled that family including influencing Tamerlan Tsarnaev to have 9/11 conspiracies. Poor Jahar was the scapegoat, literally in everything. From his family to the FBI and so on....Jahar was never really religious, I think he was coerced to follow the program and very controlled, he had no mind of his own. He took the fall for everything in the end. And I would be careful about believing the Netflix series on this because they tell you some is actual CCTV footage and others are simulated scenes, however what they don't tell you is which of those are real CCTV surveillance tapes and which are simulated. If you do research on the trial exhibit videos you will see the difference in that.

They leave out a lot about Tamerlan's background. He left to Russia supposedly for a passport. He stayed in Dagestan and suspiciously, left a few days after Plotnikov, an islamist friend of his, was killed. He was trying to convince his parents to let him stay in Dagestan, and was allegedly on a quarantine period for the extremists there. When his contacts and Plotnikov were killed he fled immediately, without even picking up his passport he supposedly was there to get. He was also described as a coward by a fellow boxer and really had not enough talent for professional boxing as explained by many he met. He couldn't get his immigration status cleared in time because he beat his American wife and she called the cops. The two also have some connection to the killing of three Jewish people in 2011.

It's SO interesting they cover the lives of the killers, but very little about the victim's lives. Even the injured victims that weren't killed. When the media makes out killers to be "sad victims" or whatever they're doing here, it only encourages more psychos to do what these two did.
@pauly260

Bad habit of the news. The killers get immortalized with fame & notoriety after the investigation happens. This inspires more sickos who have a life going nowhere & want to be remembered for something, no matter how horrible. To this day, everyone know what the Dzhokar brothers did, but your average American can't name a victim.

4:28 to 5:55 this documentary praises one of the bombers. It feels so icky to me whenever documentaries and news stories about terrorists and shooters do that. It feels like the terrorist won - they got people to say good things about them.

Then to think 4 years later there was the Las Vegas shooting in 2017 where one person caused so much chaos that he killed 60 people and injured 867 which resulted in the worst mass shooting in US history. The most vivid incidents I can remember were that shooting, this bombing, also the year before with the Sandy Hook shooting, and then in July 2022 this one was more personal to me since I live in Indianapolis but on the south side in the suburb of Greenwood there was that mass shooting which thankfully that one had someone who took down the shooter but I actually have visited that mall before.

I just watched the Netflix documentary. I am SOOOOOO glad that his death penalty was overturned and he is now once again on death row. The audacity for him to plead not guilty. I am sick and tired of these sleepers here in America. There HAS TO BE a better way to smoke them out and a due diligence done. Simply saying "we investigated him and found nothing of concern" is outdated. If you had enough to investigate, then there IS cause for concern so find what you need to find before this continues to happen and we are hit without ever seeing it coming! Too many lives have been lost!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It is a shame for whoever made this d 10:04 ocumentary. 1. Why the faces of the terrorist should make the cover. 2. The Chinese fellow, Du Meng, who was one escaped from the car and hijacking, provided the GPS of his car for the police to track and eventually lead to the downfall of these two. A deliberate modification of the history is simply disgusting for a reputable news agency like 360.

I cannot find any video of a victim, sitting in the bleachers, across the street, which is 92 feet away who was injured. Shrapnel exits it origin at super-sonic speed, over 1,000 feet per second. The patio where the first smoke was seen, has a 3 for high metal fence around it and a plastic banner around the patio fence. There were no holes or tears in the thin plastic banner, which was between 1 and 36 inches from the ground. Yet, all the civilian injuries are at ground level meaning feet, knees and legs. What I am missing?

@@CarlMarksmoney One researcher who took screen shots of the scene from the time the first smoke event until 13 minutes later provides watchers a chance to see the event as it unfolded.There was a group of cops or security guards standing in the street in front of the first smoke event and not one seems to be injured or hurt in any way. They turn to look to the second floor window area where the smoke incoming from, and continue to talk to each other, as the allow some people to leave the patio and others to enter it. I never saw rime scene tape. Every single State mandated MCI protocol is ignored. After 18,000 911 calls and well over 200 MCI incidents, that I have responded to, I know what a real MCI looks.
