@@TheMan-it7px: that spot + specie is not "commercial fisheries and lakes". That is the reason why. Catfishes aren't fragile at all (like trouts or white fishes) so that is also a reason. Then comes 3rd and last : wtf questionable pratice ? Nick isn't using net, grenade nor poison... and releases his catches as soon as possible. He has one of the best pratice you can see.

The thing that sets Nick apart from all other fishing youtubers is the variety and mystery to his channel. I find that whenever he goes fishing, he never seems to target a specific species and even when he does, there are usually other fish that come with it. I love not knowing what I'll catch next and that's what really captivates me when watching his videos. I can never wait to see what he'll catch next and that's what sets him apart from most youtubers, who generally only target one species every video. His videos have never been too repetitive and that's why I think he is the best fishing youtuber out there. Nick I hope you never stop fishing, keep aiming high!

If you think it's a mystery then obviously you aren't a fisherman. As soon as I see the title I can tell what's he's on for the video actually it is the same old repetitive thing over and over again. That's okay but to say it's always a mystery and not repeating is incorrect

I would highly recommend using a whole gizzard shad if you want a better shot at a 100 lber... it will weed out the smaller fish. It will seem like overkill but i promise something will always bite when bottom fishing even if the bait is massive. Plus a 10 inch shad is just a little snack for a catfish of that size

I'm off to Thailand next week where I had a beast of an Amazon Red Tail Catfish last year at 65lb, nearly ripped my arm off - But the Mekongs go to 380 and one guy had a 320 when I was out there that took him over 2 hours to get in! He could hardly move in the bar that night - You would love it
