The latest tinySA FW has a mirror masking option for high mode. This helps to reduce the artifacts you saw at 10MHz span.

Your detailed explanations of the TinySA have been very useful.

Very cool video, thank you for explaining all the analyzer stuff. PS: a PayPal link for promoting your Lab would be great for many viewers.

Thank you for posting this video. Would you do one for the receiver? I'm curious about the variable resistor(?) on the receiver.

To see that signal you could also use a 9€ RTL-SDR dongle, the TV tuner one

Can this oscillator be used in conjunction with an SBL-1 mixer to build a tracking generator for the Tinysa?

Does the data output from the receiver provide enough current to operate a relay?

Seems there are two versions of that Tx nowadays: with either two copper coils or (like yours) just one. The schematic clearly shows L1 in series with Vcc, so where has that gone?

Sir can u please explain the circuit diagram ( schematics ) of the 433 MHz RF transmitter and receiver module and function of the components used in the module

I bought some RF power sockets and was able to control them with one of these. There is a sniffer for the receiver in the Arduino library.

It is possible to move HP SA menus a little from the edge of the CRT by going into CAL > More > CRT HORIZ POSITION. (For some reason, if the SA is set for NTSC, everything shifts to the right a bit too much, pushing some of the menu items slightly off the screen.)
@IMSAIGuy
@IMSAIGuy 3 жыл бұрын
Yes I know how to do that but every time I power off it forgets. I've tried many menu setting to try and save it but it just forgets. I think the firmware upgrade fixes this. maybe in the future I'll try again
@MikeFikes

@@IMSAIGuy Ahh interesting. FWIW, mine persists that CAL setting across a reboot. Its firmware is rev 980615 (it is a 8594E if that matters).

This transmitter worked very unstable on one of my projects. On power on it starts transmitting somewhere in 300-500MHz (frequency based on LC feedback loop), then, maybe, if I don't put anything near antenna, it locks on 433MHz. On every transmitted pulse this unstability repeated. On ali there's another quartz based transmitter, without this problem.

I wonder the water fall mode in tiny SA might show you the on off keying as well

would it be possible to send an audio signal between these two, like for sending a signal from a guitar, even if it needs a little preamp on the same 5v or something, but yah, really hoping it will work

Now, how can I use these 433mhz devices to let me know when there is a letter in the letterbox???
@IMSAIGuy

put a switch on the box. the switch is normally open. when the mailperson opens the box the device transmits.

I recommend to use turnkey LoRa boards, this overcomes distance problems and works reliable for 10 years on battery. Check out my Turtle boards at www.radioshuttle.de

What you say is very interesting but do you realise how annoying it is to watch when you keep jerking the items around? The viewer never gets a chance to see any detail and It actually made me feel motion sick. Please keep up the interesting work but leave the subjects static, so viewers are able to have a close look at them. I've liked and subscribed. As a radio ham I have to ask, is there a way to put a tone on this and use it for sending morse code please?
