Such a compelling story. I pictured myself in Sacha’s place, walking into a refugee tent with 34 starving, completely silent, near-broken people with a babydoll-sized baby inside. I believe it would’ve been the silence that affected me the most. I’m American and so glad to learn those 34 were rescued and successfully made their homes here. I’d love to know what Sasha’s co-worker said to the immigration official that caused him to allow boarding of the plane.

Thank you for listening. Yes, it’s a heartbreaking but inspiring story. I will ask Sasha if he remembers what his colleague says and let you know. Hope you can subscribe like and share this and other episodes.

@@gabe-po9yi thanks. Yes I have some great episodes coming up. I will give you a sneak preview - Ambassador Marie Yovanovitch, fired by Donald Trump, Patrick Struebi, kidnapped by Mexican gang, Garrett Warren, stunt coordinator shot by his ex-wife’s hitman. His ex wife also was actor Joe Pesci’s ex wife. He survived the hit, and still does stunts. And other great stories. And check out last week’s episode 63 with the former Vice President of Colombia kidnapped by Pablo Escobar. Relevant since Colombia just selected a leftist ex-guerilla for President. It’s a great episode. And lastly Jerry White who stepped on a landmine. It’s one of the recent ones.
