right. they say we / ssdi recipient are getting something then they add only if you collect ssi and file taxes. i got nothing. ssdi recipient and snap recipient get nothing.. i get nothing, none of my freinds got anything. only over 65 and children and tax filers/\. and how many people on ssi since 1997. almost none because qwe got mote foodstamps the we got cash from ssi and i dropped ssi to get county medical to go to dentist. i am pissed. they keep sayong ssdi is getting something. but we dont. ssi, tax payres and kids under 19 at home

I have worked since I was 12 and paid my taxes I have been disabled for 34 years now and I am only getting 1000.00 per month. I had a trust and paid all my taxes on it I am told that those taxes don't count. Once again getting screwed by the government government

I keep hearing that people with retirement SS are getting all this extra money, but I have not seen any additional money in my bank account. I get $1700.00 every month before medicare so subtract about $100.00 from that amount to get what a get for the whole month. By the time I pay mortgage, utilities and groceries I have very little money left. So when will I see extra money in my bank account?? Barely keeping my head above water.

With a 3.2 raise what they're trying to do this January, it looks like it's going to be is around $20. They think $20 is going to help. SSI when you get $20 they're going to take 15 to 20 something or more from your food stamps and then your rent goes up. So basically you're in the same boat that you were before that little raise that they think they're going to give you. It doesn't help. It doesn't keep up with inflation. What they should be doing is not just adjusting it from 3 months. They should do it from the beginning of the year till the end of the year and calculate it that way not just 3 months
