Hotel RIU Vistamar Gran Canaria room tour no. 427

Is it true about the all the food poisoning? I am considering going here but there are so many reviews about food poisoning at this hotel it makes me want to rethink about going here

We would like to believe that there can be many sick people, as people do not wash their hands and use hand sanitizer. One thing we stayed away from was self-serve ice cubes, especially as we saw people coming straight from the toilets and over and needing ice cubes. We have never been sick during our stay. But last time we met an elderly couple where the wife had had an upset stomach, and she thought it was the large prawns. She wasn't very sick, but enough to not be able to eat that much and not feeling well. We no longer come to the RIU, we have chosen another hotel where you can choose not to have the all inclusive, or just some meals. There are so many options for dining in Puerto Rico and it's easy to walk down to town.
