Most of Rare's original staff have disbanded and moved on to other companies, such as Playtonic. If Nintendo wanted, they could do an IP trade with Microsoft. Trade F-Zero for Banjo-Kazooie.

@ALongLeggedPissedOffPuertoRican Sacrifices have to be made once in a while. The only way F-Zero will get a new game is if the IP gets transferred, because let's be frank, any company would kill to adapt a Nintendo IP, no matter how obscure.

Its not worth it in the business sense for Nintendo. All the people who originally made Rare special left long ago and Nintendo would be stuck with a bunch of IP that they may or may not use (a new Conker for example would probably not happen) when they could use those resources to make a game featuring more iconic and more bankable franchises. I would love to see them do it, but as time goes on and more people forget about Rare, Nintendo's list of reasons to buy it get slimmer and slimmer.

My favorite stage in the entire game! It’s so detailing I feel teased because I want to jump off the stage and explore the entirety of Sprial Mountain but the game is not programmed that way...it’s very beautiful! Come on Microsoft! The demand is overly clear.
