i agree. shooting with square is 10x faster, easier, & smoother so even if you do get a sped up yumper, you can adjust quickly. but with rhythm shooting it’s only amazing when you get the appropriate reaction when taking the shot. so basically it’s amazing but square is easier to use in more situations

Rhythm shooting definitely gives you a wider green window when shooting contested shots. In this 2k if anyone is in the area when you shoot it's considered a contested shoot. So you just have to be quick on the stick.

9:51 is the main issue i have with 2k as a post scorer with a 99 post control and 94 close shot 97 driving lay. then he makes a heavily contested layup. Make it make sense. Theres barely any penalties for falling for fakes inside the post. Let that have been a three though. Also the steals in this game is ridiculous they seriously need to patch that.

But the green window should be influenced by factors like your mid-range/3-point rating, jump shot boosts, badges, and hot zones. If the green window is the same for all builds, then what do these stats even do for your make percentage or green window? A build with a 75 3-point rating shouldn’t have the same green window as a build with a 99 3-point rating. If that’s the case, then what’s the point of upgrading stats? The system should reward players for investing in shooting attributes and badges, which should naturally lead to bigger green windows for higher-rated shooters. The way it’s set up now makes those stats feel irrelevant.

When I made my center I was learning to rhythm shoot on my lock with 81 3pt. I ask my friend do you believe in me to use rhythm shooting with a 78 mid and 70 3pt for the center build and been shooting consistently since.

2K needs to bring back the pure green window. The pure green window helps mitigate the latency when playing online. The RNG in the shooting honestly needs to get toned down. Random speed ups in the shots or delayed jumpers are the most aggravating things when playing because it can cost you the game at a timely manner. Rhythm Shooting does not need a nerf. Rhythm Shooting is manual shooting, if you time your shot right, you should make it. Point blank and simple. Steals, especially lane steals need to get nerfed to the ground. We got Revis island and Travis Hunter vs Colorado St out on the court. The interceptions on 2K are better than CFB 25 and Madden 🤣

Man, Loser's Out is the absolute best way to go. It gives you the best chance against cheesy players and allows you to figure them out. The 14 second shot clock is great too. Tip: If your player can bump on defense, play the Centers and Power Forwards at half court. 7/10 they pick up dribble or just run out of time. Bye Bye cheesy post scorers who can't dribble.

@@HDBishop I Believe silver bro but I have my mid range up to 86 for dead eye and shot specialist but in my opinion slower jumpers are better and they will most likely always leave you open just get hotspot boost and if any of your team mates have dimer that’s a plus my top of my key is purple and both side are purple to make my life easier so my 60 with boost and hot spot is like a 70 to 73 3 easy to time

They punish us with RNG because people want to cheat. It sucks that rhythm shooting is the only way to consistently hit your shots. There's a solution to people shooting 80-90%... it's called playing defense. A good defensive player can stop most offensive players. Why are those two the only options in Mike Wang's eyes? Fix the contest system, keep the pure green window, make it big enough for skilled players to be able to shoot consistently. The alternative? Sticking a hand in that dude's face and forcing him to miss.

Skill based matchmaking makes the game sweaty it’s better when u can practice against casuals in non competitive modes then go to comp. But this game is all comp 24/7 it’s not very enjoyable
