Jeebus. I said "I changed out the power cord for non-grounded." I meant to say "I changed it the power cord which was un-grounded." Big difference. The amp has a groinded power cable wired per modern safety codes.

Had one like this same model absolutely showroom condition, sold it for 650. I would gladly give a testicle to get it back. What a mistake that was.

Okay I saw a guy on another channel jumpering the two channels together on a Bassman, I thought this had little to no effect because of the circuit layout, please clarify this. Thanks Lyle

The channels are in-phase on many Bassman models, so it works "like a Marshall" (which works, funnily enough, like a Bassman).

My favorite Fender was the Pro Reverb. I think a bassman circuit but 40 watt ,tube rectumfier with reverb and trem. 2 12" speakers. The baby twin! Not your AB763 Fender.

Um, the Pro Reverb is identical to an AB763 amp. Different circuit number but the same circuit.
