i have a 100 gallon in my nv200 van and the most i use is about 60 gallons.. in getting a smaller tank to free up some space in the van
@Brandinwagstaff15 күн бұрын
Yeah, they take a lot of space and unfortunately our mini cargo vans are very small

I carry a 100 gallon water tank in the same van you have , my van runs great. I had a 150 gallon and my van felt to heavy , but the 100 gallons is perfect and the van feels way lighter and different.

Yeah exactly,100 gallon is just right. My 65 gallons runs out a little too quick

Can you tell us where you got everything to build the setup? Structural wise like where your pressure washer and vacuum sit on(the diamond plate)
@Brandinwagstaff9 ай бұрын
Most things I bought off Amazon, and at H2O auto Detail supply. You can find H2O auto detail supply on KZbin and Instagram. Also I went to a diamond plate warehouse and bought my floor and diamond plate wholesale but as far as the pressure washer and the vacuum I built a shelf directly above the water tank to those units to save space

What if you run out of water mid day? Where do you refill? At your shop? And how long does it take to fill.
@Brandinwagstaff Жыл бұрын
Thats a good question, Tap water is about 10-25 cents per gallon, If I have to I will ask the customer and reimburse them with approximately the amount I borrow, or I have access to tap water at my residence and there is a detail supply job near me that offers 24 hour access to DI water with a self pay kiosk. And it takes roughly 6-10 minutes to fill

Do you need a pump for the water tank. Didnt know if the free flow was enough
@Brandinwagstaff Жыл бұрын
Some guys use a pump, initially I was going to put one but I tried it out without one and it works fine

I had that tank before my issue with it is that it isn’t squared off and the round shape waste a lot of useable area. But the warranty is good if you ever have issues.
@Brandinwagstaff Жыл бұрын
Really? I haven’t noticed that. I have room still on the left and right side and the van is only around 5ft wide. Also because it sloops in the back and I can store thing’s behind it. It would be interesting to see the specs on how much a square design would actually save. Im betting it wouldn’t be much of a significant difference. Even with H20s design with the slim tank I still have as much room as they door or more because of my shelf. But I get you I was even thrown off on the cylinder shape because it actually is made for the rear of a tractor but it’s squared off enough for me and Im super picky. i I get it though its all about efficiency. What tank are you looking into?
@Skdjiejxuje Жыл бұрын
@@Brandinwagstaff I have a 100 gallon slim tank it’s called waterdragon tank it’s 48inch wide 13inch depth and 42inch height. I’ll be switching to a 50gallon slim tank and it’ll be mounted up higher with the outlet being drilled on the bottom to allow for complete usage
