[650-721] Obtaining every Pokémon in Pokédex order

In this challenge run, I will be finding out if it is possible to obtain every single Pokémon in existence, while getting them all in National Dex order. Once I've obtained one, I am then allowed to move on and catch the next one after it. However, I am allowed to freely obtain any Pokémon as many times as I like after I've gotten it once.
This is one entire continuous series, meaning that for this leg of the challenge, since I've already obtained every Gen I-V Pokémon, I am free to catch any of them that appear. It is not a living dex, so once a Pokémon has been picked up I am free to do whatever I like with it.
I can also use any games in the series, and can freely hop between them at will, along with being allowed to trade back and forth with them. I can go back to games I've used in previous parts of the challenge to pick up Pokémon if they are easier to obtain there, and if I want I can use any side games, peripherals, glitches or even events if need be, though I will primarily stick to main series games whenever possible. If obtained in a side game, it will only count as obtained once it actually arrives in a core series game, or Pokémon HOME.

just a tip for the rest of this series, starting in XY if a pokemon is past the level it can evolve at it gets a 1.2 experience boost , so it helps with three stage pokemon to wait to evolve to the second stage until the level before it needs for the final stage (i.e. evolve fletchling into Fletchinder at lvl 34 instead of 17)

The reason why they are both used is because Xerneas is life and Yveltal is death, both necessary natural forces. They are using these to power the gun because both achieve an equivalent effect, since it’s powered by the life force of Pokemon (iirc)

Let's go, more Pokémon catching in order! Love this series. Also, Noibat sounds like it was a pain to say the least. Hope things will calm down for Alola- *notices Meltan* Ah. The GO experience continues... at least this will probably be the last time, considering most Gen 8 and 9 mons aren't currently available in that game. Other notes when looking through the Alola Pokédex: - You'll finally be able to obtain Oshawott in L:A! I guess you're going to use it for the Rowlet line. - Totem Stickers will help skip grinds for Gumshoos and Lurantis (gifts [no trading in stickers required afaik] after collecting 20 and 50 stickers respectively in Ultra Sun - also Araquanid if you get to it before Malie Garden, requiring you to have collected 40 in Ultra Moon) - Type: Null is in a weirdly early place in the Pokédex - you can only get it after becoming Champion! Thankfully, USUM have no required catches - not even Nebby or Necrozma. - Finally, we have another Mythical that you can obtain normally! (from what I understand, Magearna can be obtained via QR code in Sun and Moon, though you need to have become Champion first)

Gen 7 honestly doesn’t seem all too bad In terms of problems Because the main problems would be the Tapus, coming before the box legends. Then cosmog and cosmoem. Then poipole. Then melmetal But because I’m USUM being able to just walk right past necrozma on mt lanakila, you can get the tapus fine, then I’m pretty sure you can get cosmog right after that from the altar of the sunne/moone. But then it’s the fact you need to play through USUM completely to do that to avoid a catching the box legend first. Then you can play SM to get box legend easily. Then it’s a matter of the UBs which won’t be a hassle. But then, poipole will be a pain because you will have already finished ultra megalopolis, unless there’s a failsafe I’ve forgotten abt to get it after anyway. Oh then repeat the Noibat evolution process for Melmetal. Alola won’t be difficult, just painful Oh also before all this. The game has to be completed to receive type null, in both sm and usum So yeah, Alola suuuucks But still doesn’t hold a candle to how the hell you’re getting the gen 8 box legends before eternatus That I’m looking forward to

If your boxes are full you can wait to get Poipole. That's how people shiny hunt it quicker because there's less dialogue when you come back. Same with Type:Null, though I'm not sure where in the dex that one is so idk how much of a problem it will be. The biggest hurdle for Poipole at least will be completely filling every box :')

@@fiiyve You actually don't have to worry about full boxes for Poipole. You can just say no to getting it when they offer and then come back whenever you want and they'll offer it again. Sadly you do have to have full boxes for Type Null though. But that probably won't be a problem for this challange cause it comes before the legendaries in the pokedex, so it'll be fine if he plays in USUM
