I use anti seize weekly, our supplier informed me not to use it with aluminum. It corrodes aluminum with a steel bolt in it. Literally eats out the threads by chemical action and you end up with an empty hole. Have disassembled stuff I built and have seen the effects of corrosion. Especially with water to help. With aluminum, use grease, lasts forever, aluminum bolt holes are often blind (have a closed bottom) to reduce oxidation. grease does not dry out easily and is water resistant. Been there, done it. Use grease. Cheap, easy. Professional 2 cents.

Additionally, anti seize is not easy to remove. It is designed to resist dilution. Have experienced that also. Fill bolt hole with varsol or gasoline, spin proper size tap through hole, remove and put air nozzle into bottom of hole and blow and pull nozzle out while blowing. May need to repeat several times to clear anti seize. It is GOOD stuff designed to adhere to metal.

I bought a 76 650. Only thing I didn't like was that pull rope assy. Poor design, Hard to use. Bought the electric start and never looked back. Best sled I've ever owned
