I know, it adds so much depth to the SOS show and I love watching Zac bouncing ideas off of him!

2:14:19 Did he really say the Panthers O-Line was "okay"? That was their weakest link by FAR. Thats where they invested the most money during this off-season.
@AJ-lq1zqАй бұрын
Yeah and the defense wasn’t bad. The offensive line was a huge problem.
@nathanhawthorneSOSАй бұрын
After further review, the ruling on the field has been reversed. Panthers o-line was GARBAGE. O line being bad and a less than good WR core created a gnarly spot for Bryce Young to be in. I really hope it’s better for him.

@@nathanhawthorneSOS That is fair, I agree brother. I'm a Panthers fan and I am hoping Canales can work his magic like he did with Geno and Baker. I've been watching the show for a few years now, I like when you are on too 🤝

The chemistry is starting to improve with y’all. There’s still a few bumps where y’all talk over each other, but talking for almost 3 hours is hard. Can’t wait for more from you two

Re: what you say about losing a Super Bowl. That is for a close loss. How about a blowout? 49ers 55-10 over Broncos. That isn't so much a heartbreaker as it is an embarrassment.

Great episode as usual. Just a suggestion, maybe have Nathan move his mic back a bit. I can hear him breathing throughout the episode lol.

That's the problem with hiring defensive coaches. As you can see, quarterbacks benefit when there is continuity with the play-caller, for instance, when Patrick Mahomes has Andy Reid or Tom Brady has Josh McDaniels/Bruce Arians. The last 5 years have shown that you can only win SBs if you have an offensive-minded head coach. Yes, you can get close, but we have yet to see them making it past the AFC Championship. That's why it is critical for the Texans to make a deep postseason run because without Bobby Slowik being there, I don't see where the Texans will be able to advance or even win an SB with their roster.

My dawg, said Antonine Winfield Jr. is getting old? Dude is 25 and the best safety in the league
@nathanhawthorneSOSАй бұрын
From my POV: 4 years as a starting safety means you’re starting to get old. Add in a consistently bum ankle a few concussions? I’ll be fair, though. He’s legit and I hope he’s got two more years minimum at an elite level

The problem with the jags was the O Line... You can get in every game in every quarter in EVERY Drive their Centre lies on the ground... If you have 1.4 Seconds to throw as a young QB you think you need to play hero ball... He did it good most of the time, because he was mobile... But after that injury in week 13 you can see his mobility to extend plays disappeared... And if you only have Calvin Ridley available as a receiver every defense after week 13 had 2 or even 3 defenders on Ridley... I am not saying he was perfect and the Turnovers are definitely a problem, but this was a team collapse not a T Law collapse only... And before his injury a week prior he outplayed CJ Stroud and they were looking forward to win the division... Ah and 9 Dropped TDs dont help, from Butterfinger Ridley

Those soft tissue injuries are the worst. My A&P instructor used to say if you have a choice of breaking a bone or breaking soft tissue break a bone. Bone is highly vascular and heals in 6-8 weeks. Soft tissue is not a and takes a lot longer to heal... If at all.

Sterling played with Baker before and I don't see enough people talking about that. Bucs are winning the division with the 3 or 4 seed and making it to the conference championship.

Also Cohen basically has free reign to design whatever offense he wants. Bowles said as much in a press conference the other day. Bowles wants to win and if that means he's totally hands off with the offense he's gonna do that.
