LOL Emmerdale has made me feel that way many times since 2010. I totally understand you. In fact if I were more invested in Robert and the current relationship I´d probably feel the same as we speak. The show is so good.

Thanks for understanding !! lol. I didn't go into Emmerdale expecting this sort of quality. Or emotional investment… I think they keep surpassing themselves. I've even started to seek out other storylines that doesn't only include Aaron - Like Ashley's. The show has so many great characters which really showed in this ep.

quietastronaut You´re exactly ME but in 2016 instead of in 2010. I started because of Aaron and I couldn´t believe how affecting everything started to be (imo that was way better done and with more continuity than his story with Robert, but that´s a different story. I´m too much of a veteran lol). Somehow I started watching the full show when something big was happening. And once Aaron left in 2012, I realized I was watching the full show even without him (in youtube and Dailymotion, I´m not British). Thank goodness cause I would have missed amazing stories (their very best was probably in 2013 when Aaron, my fave, wasn´t even in the show). Goes to show how good these British "soaps" are. When they are on, especially Emmerdale, they are amazing. I´ve seen a few better acting pieces in Emmerdale than in some oscar nominated roles. Some of the top actors are Danny/Aaron, Laurel, Ashley or Moira. You can also see it cause they are the ones constantly given the hard stories. I haven´t been watching this year though. Glad to talk to you :)

As I try to hold back tears that I feel welling up...Never have I witnessed two people, not their characters so emotionally open and unafraid. What Danny and Ryan did and continue to do gets my heart every time...to see this love and trust given so openly leaves me breathless

Lachlan had no reason to care because he hated Robert and Aaron had kidnapped him so he didn't owe either of them any compassion. Adam and Robert, you both rock. Risking your lives to save Aaron was simply amazing. And Vic's worry for her brother and one of her closest friends (soon to be brother-in-law) was heart breaking. My poor Aaron, almost drowning. Thank God for Robert, saving the love of his life. And no, I'm still not crying... really I'm not. I'll just wipe the tears out of my eyes so I can continue to watch this. This had me on the edge of my seat the whole time. And one of the best things to see was Robert giving Lachlan hell for doing nothing to help. Seeing Robert go back in the water for the twit and continue to look for him. "If he dies, I'm coming for you." Go Robert Go! Put Lachlan in his place.

Lol I know he's the victim here but he did a lot of things and he never paid for them. Like threaten your ex step dad of abuse and, wanting him to be killed by his bf, wanting to kill Robert, shooting his grand dad, the Alicia stuff, being creepy and listening conversation that doesn't concern him etc.. I felt sorry for him and thought he was just a kid who was lost but know I just have pity. He needs help and he sure do knows that what he's doing. His mom is always cleaning after the mess he make and he keeps getting himself in bad stuff. I hope that you understand my point because I'm still learning English and I don't know if my comment is actually clear lol.

Did Ryan and Danny let it slip that Aaron survives in the interview that ITV posted online today? They were talking about how much longer it took to film those scenes. They said it caused their daily work load to double because it took like 6 weeks to film this week when it normally takes about two weeks. Then Ryan said just off the cuff that they were now back to a normal work schedule and Danny agreed. It was also kind of obvious that the interview was filmed on set too. So was that a give away?

If I was Lachlan, I wouldn't feel bad at all. Aaron just got finished kidnapping him! lol. We know they weren't going to intentionally hurt him but he didn't. Lachlan also, most likely, would have died if he didn't break free of his bondage before they crashed.

Brilliant sequence and wonderful performances. I know Robert is not rational, at the moment, but really, him coming after Lachlan if Aaron dies, is a little unjust. After all, Aaron did kidnap Lachlan. Robert should be grateful Lachlan escaped, otherwise he might be visiting Aaron in the prison infirmary...presuming Aaron takes the wrap for the kidnapping and Robert is exonerated. And now, what is Chas going to think now?

Cain Chas's brother has done worse on many occasions with less provocation. I don't see Chas disowning him. I can't see Lachlan reporting either of them. Victim on this occasion he may be, innocent he is not. You know what they say about people in glass houses. The involvement of the police might cause them to look at the motive for the kidnapping.

Considering what Lachlan was threatening to do, and after what he's already done in the past, I have no sympathy for him, and if there was ever a kidnap instance to let Aaron off with, I think this would be it after everything he's been through already. That kid is sick and twisted, and he deserved worse than he got. If he hadn't threatened Robert, Aaron would never have taken him, and none of them would have been on that road to begin with.
