66751 rescues broken down 66750! Seen at Otford & Shoreham - 29/5/24

On the 29th of May 2024, 66750 ran into difficulties near Eynesford & it’s twin, 66851 was sent to rescue it. Firstly we see 66751 crossing over to the “wrong line” via the rarely used Otford ground frame, followed by it then heading up the down line. About an hour later we see the pair heading south through Shoreham working the 6O55 Daventry - Dollands Moor around 3 hours late. Very very nearly bowled by a 700 as you can hear in the background, I had to move positions on the platform!

Excellent sequence of events there Howard, poor old 750! Helps at hand! Did you order 66415 Your never alone, recieve mine tommorow, tbe problem is think its not Orangey enough, just like Hornby and Hattons 66623 wasent, whereas Bachmanns 418 was spot on. It was only 413 that Hornby produced ,was the lighter Orange and was spot on. As it was the only one euth the lighter shade of Orange, cheers Nick.

They seem to have gone for the 66413 shade of orange, not the standard type. I didn’t order 415 though!

Good choice! Its crackers an image of it in front of its box and you can see the difference!! The colours are perfectly correct on the box.
