This is by FAR the best Cleghorn video on KZbin. Great job! I was watching and literally puckered up a few times 😂😂. Thanks for letting me know which offshoots to NOT take my 4Runner on

As soon as I got my Tacoma, that’s the first place my buddies took me for my first time, and it was their first time when they had got theirs and their jeep as well. Much love for Cleghorn for the memories that get made there. 🤟🏽

I went to cleghorn on saturday when it rained. I thought it would be a bad idea and i was right. I kept sliding always thinking i was gonna slide and hit the side of the mountain but never did. Made my butt pucker the whole way.

Cleghorn will teach you about ruts & wedges. Great footage. The year I lived in Lytle Creek spent a lot of time on Cleghorn and nearby trails.

Cleghorn is definitely the trail that I first learned on as well in my 2020 Toyota tundra. And I was completely stocked a month off the dealership. Someone told me to go off Roading and figure out what kind of off-road driver I was going to be before I started doing any modifications. I can tell you I wish I would’ve waited an additional week the time that I did hit Cleghorn because I did not have any rock sliders whatsoever and still to this day, My passenger side has that battle scar that I took at Cleghorne when I was stock. I can say when I was stock I did all the offshoots, but I do not recall doing “the shoot.” But it was definitely oh shit creek that left a literal mark on my passenger side! 😂

That pucker hill was super gnarley back in the day. Is the trail at the top still open? it had a off camber curve next to a old tractor or something like that.

Back when I was growing up as a kid in NorCen Cal, there used to be Clear Creek. 50 miles south of Hollister CA. About 350,000 acres of BLM land. They used to race National AMA Enduros down there. 100's of miles of dirt roads that used to support a huge mining industry. All closed and gated today...even though it is Public property. Even though some of the main roads are technically county roads. There really isn't a true, offroad trail left open around here outside of the SRVA parks.

I love that you guys can run a full size rig , here we really can't, otherwise, I would have built a S.A.Swap Tundra! Nothing against my S.A.Swap Tacoma, it works great on the "East Side" , but I would definitely need a V8 out on the west, like I've said before "We just have really nowhere to go fast here" When we wheel here, there's trees 🌳 everywhere! Years ago , my friend brought his brand new slightly lifted Xterra and within 5 minutes, maybe less, he had body damage from front to back! He kept saying "My wife is going to kill me" next week we bought his XJ and sold his Nissan 👋 Then his 1 ton YJ! And it was on! But wheeling without trees 🌳 would be the Shiznit! One day D, One day! Great video as always! TY brother
