'67 FARMALL 1206

My uncle had two 1206 tractors, one was like this with the white cab and straight pipe and the other had a regular muffler with a full sized red cab. We pulled 5-20s molboard plow right along with them. Very dependable and fuel efficient machines.

Worked on a PA farm when I was a kid. The farm had a H an M and an MD. Then the farmer came home one day with a 1206! I was just blown away! That tractor was a game changer. It is still in use today.

I love the 1206, one day I'll get one. I looked at a couple before ultimately buying my 1066, best deal I could find for what I need it for.

Did it have a cab on it before? I'm asking because of the red fenders. To my knowledge all the 1206s came with white fenders.

Correct, was ordered fender delete and had aftermarket cab put on a dealer when new. Found nice set of 806 fenders that the patina matched and went with red fenders. So its lucky it even has fenders now and the correct series. Id have to kick up a nice set of original 1206 fenders to persuade me to swap them out. Dont see that happening any time soon.

Is it supposed to have white fenders with only one gray handle?

From the factory they had white fenders but this was ordered as a fender delete. Never had fenders on it until i bolted them on. Later 06s had double steps and black grab handles on both sides.
