I don't understand why the ownership is sitting back watching the fans who pay hard earned money to watch this incapable coach just sit back and blow every single chance to win a game and he is insane which as I recall means doing the same thing and expecting a different results !!! Accountability goes where cause if this is the h.i.t.s. system that he supposedly runs . 3 years of the same garbage and he has no clue what he is doing ?

My wife doesn't know didly about footbal and was saying "Why don't they call time out????" My only reply :"Because the coach is an idiot!" If the Bears get a game-tying field goal there they have ALL the momentum and might have very well won that game! Instead Eberflus gives another game away because he doesn't understand the basics of coaching.

I'm a Lions fan, and.... I really don't know how we won. And.. I do not care! 🤣 I couldn't believe what I was watching as it was a pretty bad game honestly all the way around. But then we won because somehow the coach fell asleep and Caleb seemed completely oblivious to the clock, which would be outrageous for a college QB much less a PROFESSIONAL. I'd blame the coach more but.... I mean... I do not actually understand how he isn't fired but hey.... the old Lions curse is dead and.... its gone to the Bears... 🙃🤣
@marks.39342 сағат бұрын
Snatching defeat from the jaws of victory. At this the Bears are the best! Eberlose continues his innovative coaching. He wears down the Lions offense by not letting them off the field in the first half. Which allows a faux comeback, but we know better. Eberlose wants to keep his streak alive, now at 6. He allows this by letting the clock run out to lose rather than getting another FG blocked to lose. The man never stops thinking. Congrats coach!

Even my wife who knows no football at all was saying why don't they call a timeout. It's an insult if he coaches one more game and a disrespect to all former players and coaches of this franchise.

As a lions fan I really hate but also like the good chance of Ben Johnson as bears head coach. I'd rather the bears were in the AFC South getting Johnson but the bears are a perfect organization and good team with even more potential. I had no idea Caleb Williams was that good and he's only gotten better as the season goes on. But most importantly the better the opponent and the worse the game is going the better he plays. That's mahomes and burrows level mental toughness

Let me guess what Eberflus will say: "well we didn't want to try to kick it because it could be blocked" .... (Said in the tone of "we didn't want to run another play and risk a fumble")

@@reddeadjujuthe reason your even in the game is #18. Yeah, he’s a rookie taking bad sacks sometimes. Maybe if a backup tackle doesn’t get beat the second the ball is snapped. Of course he should put his cape on and morph through him and make the throw regardless I get that.. but it isnt always gonna happen with a rookie.

The Caleb hyperbole has got to stop. You can't ignore his play in the 1st half. He had success once the Lions D was depleted by injuries. Yet another game we failed to score more than 20 points. You won't many games scoring 20 points or less.

Well, the shortened suite is they weren't trying to tie the game. They were either going to win it or lose it. That being said they could've taken a time out they could've converted the fourth down and they could've had three more shots to win the game or lose the game. Fire Eberflus his clock management is abysmal
@quinn-tessential3232Сағат бұрын
Now do you understand why Eberflus was willing to "settle" for a long field goal attempt at the end of the Packers game? No matter which direction he goes, the team finds a way to come up short. The irony is that the Bears were a 10-point dog and performed admirably by making this a game, and yet we're back to "Eberflus is a bum, get rid of him!" as the entire story. That's lazy and dumb. Good teams don't find themselves consistently behind coming down the stretch, having to mount a last-minute drive with a rookie QB and an unreliable offensive line that tends to give up sacks and pressures at inopportune times. This team is short on TALENT and that's why they keep losing. By the way, last time I checked, NFL rules allow the QB to call a time-out. A "franchise quarterback" needs to take control.

No doubt a timeout should’ve been called after the sack but Caleb took way too long to snap the ball after they decided not to call it. Everybody was at the line with 15 seconds left. There was confusion by two receivers up top about who needed to be on the line of scrimmage. And how does Kmet make the same stupid mistake of offensive pi? Just terrible all around.

Rewatch the play. It was a bad sack, but the dude had about two seconds (if that). Even still, after the sack, it's an obvious timeout. Caleb is a decent to good QB. If he was cut (which is never going to happen), he would immediately get picked up by another team. Even Daniel Jones is still on a roster. I can only hope you are trolling by saying cut Caleb.

He’s a rookie who has 4 late game drives to put them in position to win, and every time the coach does something to lose. If you watch this season and blame Caleb you don’t know anything about football. I don’t think Fields had a single late game drive in 3 seasons and the whole fan base loved him.
