Stock rebuilt g54bt i went through keeping it stock except for good gaskets and ARP studs. One of the units is brand new & one step smaller than my TD05 and the other is a 😢used much much larger T3T4 hybrid T04E in great condition I'm looking forward to the smaller unit test r because I want better response early. I dont like revving These 4 inch stroke engines. We will see. Thanks for the incredible work you do ..

I think he's going to be running a 67 not 57. Hollset Hx35 is 57mm is limited to ruffle 35psi at 350hp ish wheel ( 350.wheel is about 500 crank)in a 2nd gen cummins with the 12cm/.70ar housing being the choke point . Using to a 16cm/.8 ar got some folks to 450ish their are 18cm/.95ar and 21cm/ 1.15ar. There are maps available A pair of 57mm would support 600-700 or a single s362 is rated 68lb/min or 680 crank 475 ish tire.

I have a ls 5.3 iron block and want to put it in my 1965 chevelle and dont want to use the ugly truck intake so if it was your car and engine and on a budget what would you do cam / intake / maybe different heads ? I dont need 500hp but near that wouod be nice but im more interested in a reliable driver street rod

Just use one of the oem car intakes. I'm pretty sure Dorman sells them. Just make sure you get the right one, likely cathedral port.
